In effect what you are saying is that Trump should have known better than to say he would accept dirt on political opponents after all the fuss over the Steele Dossier and Trump Jr's meeting. The fact such an act was criminal should been seared in his mind. Yet for whatever reason, he foolishly said he would commit such a crime. Long or short term memory loss? Gross inattention?
