It does not matter that nothing has been proved against you. Your refusal to provide evidence is the evidence...

When did the government become the arbiter of its own power?

The Bill of Rights’ has a very clear prohibition of unreasonable searches – which by any etymological standard encompasses the arbitrary and random searching of everyone who just happens to be available. What is the average citizen to do when the term "unreasonable search" is redefined by government to suit it's own ends?

The erosion of personal freedom is accomplished in slow, deliberate steps, bit by bit. Recall the analogy of the frog in boiling water.... or they came for the Jews, and I was not a Jew. Then they came for the Gypsies, and I was not a Gypsy,... then they came... for me.

It appears, that now, it's more clear what Obama was alluding to. That the Constitution is an old document that needs to be brought up to modern times. What does that mean? It means exactly what is happening now, in the Justice System, within the swamp. Justice will only prevail outside Washington's purview. there will be justice for the lowly but a little different for the politician and connected. THAT IS NOW!

Its time to do away with lawyers in the congress. Let them get a job.

Sadly, most in Congress don’t know what real work is.

When you get pulled over by the cops they have to ask your permission to search your vehicle, but if you decline to give such permission...........they consider that probable cause, arrest you, search your vehicle anyway and even if no contraband is found, you'll be charged with resisting arrest, and/or failure to follow a lawful order.

Personal liberty and civil rights are an illusion.

Let's say you fail to pay your property taxes, they'll kick you out of your home, sell it at auction for a pittance................and FINE you on top of that. It turns out..........you don't own ANYTHING, you just rent it from the Government.

Perfect...like when Barr refuses to let congress see key evidence in a report that is being hidden? When the white house exerts a completely false and irrelevant executive privilege and refuses to provide documents or let ex staff testify at hearings? When the way "might invoke executive privilege" is being used has absolutely no legal merit or standing? When investigations have an underlying foundation of obstruction and the president and AG continue to obstruct?

Investigations have to happen to determine innocence or guilt, and when there is evidence that leads to guilt it requires further work.

I see you are making a typical woodguru post, all accusation and no proof. If I were held to your standards, I could claim someone was a three-headed Martian Mongoose Molester and expect it to be believed.

I pay both city and county taxes. Last year I got a little behind on the county, and they sent me a love letter saying they were going to put a lien on my house if I did not take action. I agreed to a payment plan, stuck to it for over a year, I never missed or was late on a payment. Two weeks before the very last payment was due, those bastards put a lien on my house anyway, and I had to triple my last payment to get the lien taken off.

Property taxes are for the on-going indoctrination into socialism by public screwal indoctrinators. We are still in the European Middle Ages.

I think the country runs in spite of them.

Yep. I've said that for years. You think you own your house? Or anything else? Dont pay taxes and you'll see what you own
