Wow! I'm amazed! Your garden looks like something out of a magazine or a fantasy movie. Elrond would be right at home in your garden. Is there any danger for the kids from the animals? OMG An elephant? You have a most blessed life and you MUST be a very fine lady to get so much help! God bless your endeavors.

How very kind of you!! No danger.... the kid(s) are never left alone with an animal that could harm them. But, actually all the animals respond well to love and I have yet to see one of them show aggression, but that does not mean that they are house pets. So, we make sure that when a child/teen is on grounds they are not left on their own. Safety first. Anyway, I bet that all who rescue animals have unique acquired friends.

We have 2 dogs and cats. All are rescues except for my wife's little dog. This is MY dog, Foxy Lady, as a pup.

Very true...

Was on the phone with my mother...
She works with a rescue group and has four rescue dogs of her own...

She just showed me her newest acquisition... Sweet fella who was rescued from a mill in California.. He is riddled with Cancer and the vet doesn't expect him to last a month...

As he is not yet showing signs of pain or discomfort , she brought him home to spend what time he has left being loved...

Perhaps there will come a day when we can treat all life with a bit more respect...

Til then God bless you fine ladies (You and Maximus' wife) and Grant you success in your endeavors...Amen..
