The POTUS is in charge of the executive branch and not Congress.

Two things:
They'll be singing a different tune during the next Democrat administration. Of course, they will not recognize their hypocrisy.
What would happen if the House denied funding for the executive branch? Since the executive departments are being turned against their original purpose, not funding them would be a pretty good check on their power.

Separation of powers is a doctrine of constitutional law under which the three branches of government (executive, legislative, and judicial) are kept separate. This is also known as the system of checks and balances, because each branch is given certain powers so as to check and balance the other branches.
None of these branches have plenary power over the others. In this case congress does not have Carte Blanche to rule as it sees fit.
Either you embrace our unique system of government or pack your bags and ship your sorry ass out. I hear Cuba and Venezuela are looking for a few good men.

Where did Obama use executive privilege give me some examples if you would please.
Did Obama ever defy congressional subpoenas did Obama refuse to turn over requested documents, did Obama ever use the courts to prevent administration officials from testifying.
