Who or what the pastor or the judge may be is irrelevant. What is relevant is the Christian hating poster who dug this crap up.
Rather disgusting I agree... Sort of like when you hear a judge hand out a lighter sentence to a Muslim because his culture is more 'understanding' of certain actions...
Execution...
With prejudice...
Since when is incest against the law in the Bible Belt?

If one has read the post, "Criminalizing Christianity', it won't be long before this too will have advocates for legalizing these types of incestuous acts.
When "Time Magazine" displays on its cover, the queer mayor of South Bend, Indiana, and his husband as if this is something to be celebrated, ya have to know, the game is about over. You can say what ya want about other cultures as being backward if opposing this behavior, however, if opposing this junk is being backward, sign me up

Actually... The judge was an Evangelical Republican. I went on the hunt using the judge's name and found him to be a Republican that is also a Lay Leader at Fellowship Evangelical Free Church.

https://ballotpedia.org/Steven_W._SwordPeterS was just being facetious in laying the blame on "Liberal maggot" judges. It was a Conservative maggot judge that caused this travesty of justice.
Edit: If you read the article, the "Christian" judge was not the only "good Christian" to sympathize with the "pastor", many among his community and his congregation also sided with him.

However, despite the overwhelming evidence, including forensic evidence showing traces of Richards’ semen on his daughter’s bed frame, many in the community refused to believe that Pastor Richards was a rapist.
For example, Pastor David Thompson, who shared ministry duties with Pastor Richards at My Father’s House Church of God in Lenoir City, said:
I find it impossible for me to believe he’s guilty of this. His business needs him. His family needs him. Our church needs him.
In fact, over 30 parishioners from the church came to court to show support not for the victim, but for the rapist.
However, despite the overwhelming evidence, includ... (

A light sentence was not justifiable. Especially considering he's supposed to be a Christian. This is evil.
I agree that this judge is wrong. Granted 12 years is far less than 72 years, but 12 years in prison is more than a " Light Sentence ".
