Put simply, any individual who lives in public housing will have to confirm the status of their immigration,
assuming that the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) proposal goes into effect.
Families who currently reside in these facilities would also have to prove that each member
is a lawful resident or a holder of a green card.
Individuals who have yet to confirm their immigration status would be mandated to do so
during the next time their status as a beneficiary of government assistance is reviewed.

“We have a long list of people we can only serve right now one in four of the people
who are looking for assistance from the government.

What do you think?

The best and most effective way to stop illegal immigration would be to take away their reasons for coming here. That means high penalties for hiring them or providing housing, no public education, no birthright citizenship, no government benefits of any kind, etc.

Illegals have no right to public housing. Illegals with children born in this could should have access to public housing

If the parents are ILLEGAL trespassers but the children are not, the parents should be given two options. Take your children and go home and start application for legal entry OR leave your children here in the care of a legal resident that you trust then go home and start legal proceedings to become a legal resident.

Agreed! No public housing, no benefits whatsoever, no anchor babies which recognize a baby born inside the US to an illegal alien as a citizen. And that's just for starters.
Next is to dramatically ramp up deportations. For sure all illegals who have violated any of our laws, then any illegal who has ever sought and/or received any benefits.
They need to agree to hide in the shadows since they're here illegally. Otherwise why was there even a law passed by the legislature declaring illegal aliens who enter this country to be 'illegal?' Enforce the law!

You should know better than that, look at the very many times we on the left have proposed more enforcement and fines for providing jobs to the illegals..

Put them where they belong...out of here. They are a staggering financial drain on our economy. Now the Democrats want to allow them to vote. They have nothing to lose when they vote for the party of giveaways which is what the Democrats are. Give away until the dependence is complete and you’ve got them.

Now if the children are put into child care what is that cost to the American tax payer. Do I have an answer to this issue no I don’t but if you read the Obama legislation on DACA then just maybe there is a solution. But it sure shows your total lack of understanding.

So why is it so hard to get a Democrat to vote for any of these issues now? Oh, right..."Orange Man Bad!"
