So how do you explain the fact that on one side of the wall there are approximately 200 murders a week, and the other there are less than 25 a year? Before the wall, murder rates were the same on both sides. The wall was completed in 2009. The murders in El Paso in 2010 were a whopping 5 for the year. The left wants to say there is no proof the wall was the reason for the drop, or that murder rates were falling everywhere. But on the Mexican side of the wall, murder rates have continued to rise!!!!

So if it's not the wall making the difference, what IS????
So how do you explain the fact that on one side of... (show quote)

Did you know that drug cartels are killing as they wish in Mexico?

I think you need to reread my post about El Paso.. I stand on what that says..

That makes no sense. If the amount we have now is costing us however many billions, more will obviously cost more billions. If a dike breaks and flooding starts, do you say plugging the break in the dike won't get rid of the water that already came through, so lets not fix the dike.

A wall would do nothing to remove those living here already..

REEEAALLY! No. But it would prevent many more from coming. First you stop the flood from coming in, then you deal with what already came in, then with the flood damage.

Yup. And the wall keeps them from killing as they wish in El Paso as well as Ciudad Juarez.

That graph states it is from CBP. I provided one from CBP AND a link to CBP. If one is a fake CBP graph, it isn't the one from the CBP site.

Are you resorting to trump fake news bull sh**???

so we are done, you got nothing to change my mind.

I think the wall is money done the drain.. progress has been made for 20 years, we do not need to 20 billion on the orange wall.

Yes, President Obama decision to concentrate on felony criminal and give the lower law offender a near pass, was open to criticize.. I can see both some good and some bad in the policy..

But as the current law goes way back.. for got the date.. but was 60/70 years or so..

It is very much past the time for sorting the laws and making things workable..

I think that is my biggest gripe about the immigrant problem.. Or maybe not..

Meet the richest people in the world:
These men are genius. They were teen agers, quit Harvard, to innovate Microsoft. His co-founder Paul Allen, another genius. Paul was lost to cancer unfortunately. May he rest in peace. He was humble and a great man. They both worked hard.

I remember Bill Gates. He lives about 8.5 miles from the University campus. He was very humble. I met him personally when he was our Speaker in our department at the U. His Dad was one of the Board of Regents but now retired. He built many buildings at our University Campus, like the Mary Gates Hall, named after his mom. He built a huge complex for the Law School buildings, and many others. I think he donated to Harvard too. He promised that 50% of his wealth be given to charity. He is now worth about $90 billion or more.

He donates billions of his money around the world especially the poorest countries. Bill Gates Foundation funds 3rd world countries providing for medical care and many others. He provides scholarship to our students with high IQ's to pursue undergraduate degrees, Masters Degrees, and even up to Ph.D. My niece was one of the recipients of his program. She was sent to an IVY League at Cornell U. Took the Masters and then PH.D in Mathematics. Now, she's a professor in math and science.

As for Bezos I am not so impressed. I think he does not have charitable foundation yet. But hope somedays he will. These 2 richest guys in the world live just miles away in a suburb of Seattle, the place where these richest people in the world live.

I am not sure of Buffet. I think he has a charitable foundation too. These people became the richest, because they are brilliant, and work hard. Let us be thankful that we have them. Don't be jealous.

Glad you admire Gates and others... Kudos and congratulations to you niece..

According to a cousin of mine you are correct about Gates and Allen.

He knows them quite well. Dinner and weekends at Gates and a vacation with Allen..

Has spoken well of them..

I know mostly nothing about the others you mention..
