Hurrah for THAT sentiment!!!!! Maybe if we hold them all more accountable and pass regulations against allowing them to vote themselves lifetime benefits we might get a different caliber of public servant. Then stop voting for incumbents. I have a rule. I will not vote to reelect an incumbent more than once. The House is reelected at a rate of about 90%, the Senate at an astounding 97% and the same idiots who reelected them sit and bitch because nothing ever changes.... we need term limits..... Have you thought that those investigations and allegations are politically motivated? Who are making those accusations and why? I could accuse you of being a lousy roofer, via internet, here from Va. to your area in Oregon, but would that make it true?

Part of being in construction and being a contractor is reading people. I have met thousands of people without exaggerating. I know a baloney artist from a real person and I can figure that out in just a few minutes. I agree with you about politically motivated accusations. I vote for Peter DeFazio every time he comes up for reelection same with my state senator and county commissioners. Trump is the incumbent but I am not going to vote for someone who is nothing but a controversy. Someone new without a past--yuck yuck-- ain't gonna happen. Give me honesty no matter how un-glamourous and I'll take you into consideration if you are running for office. Honesty is what gets my attention--Wealth with no class is a major turn off for me. I have millionaires in my family and millionaires for some of my customers. These people are real and will get in the trenches with you and that impresses me.
