One of the recurring themes climate change deniers such as Blade-Runner harp on is that climate change is "natural," it has happened before, and and because of these things it isn't serious -- or, to go one step further into Blade_Runner Fantasy Territory, it's a dastardly hoax designed to end Capitalism.

Yes, it has happened before. You might want to read the book "Nature's Mutiny" by Philipp Blom. This book describes an historic cooling of the earth that occurred during relatively recent history, the "Little Ice Age" of the seventeenth century. You deniers bring up this cooling as proof that modern climate change cannot be that serious because it has happened before. Blom's book accounts many of the societal changes the "Little Ice Age" caused. We're just at the beginning of seeing what the heating of the earth will do to human society, but what happened when the climate changed before gives us a foretaste.

One of the recurring themes climate change deniers... (show quote)

No one is saying that a changing climate won't necessitate the need for certain measures...
But the belief that climate can be "stabilized" is a fallacy...

Would you deny that the degree of climate change might be affected one way or another by differing degrees and types of human activity?

You read all those books if you have the time to waste. I will just be my own judge and believe what I see, the weather, the fraud, and what I would lose and what tyrants would gain. The believers in global warming or climate change should drown themself in the bathtub to prove the father of this crap, Algore is not a dirty liar.

Wow! Aren’t you the profound intellect? Deny yourself access to information and then make judgments according to the misinformation rattling around in your head.

I'd rather think that one volcano has more to do with it than anything man could even consider. Mother Nature cleans herself. Now if you want to consider the plastics we are screwing things up with, I'll talk with you. I saw a film where they can turn plastics back into oil which can be refined into various fuels for reuse.
