The Trump right wing agenda will always deny science if it does not fall along there ideology. It’s the same with the MSM if reports are negative it’s fake news, if it’s positive news they start pounding there chest.
Trumps methods to sideline science under the clean Air Act, which is now creating more health problems and future problems. Putting this nation at risk.
Under the Clean Air Act, it was the responsibility where the EPA sets ambient air pollution standards based on what protects public health, thru Trump this no longer exist.
Trump has undercut the vital role of science in protecting people, from environmental hazards, weakening chemical safety laws, limiting access to information by dumping all data. Trump cancelled all environmental impact reviews. Trump has suppressed scientific studies where findings undercut Trumps political agenda.
Trump has shut out all scientists from the decision making process by eliminating scientists at the EPA or his typical role of just leaving positions vacant, he disbanded the advisor committee, science and scientific grants are gone and now it’s all controlled by Trumps political appointees.
Scientists wether agency staff experts in leadership positions or non governmental scientists who have long advised Congress when good decisions depend on scientific evidence. Trump is excluding all this expertise from the EPA. Trump has shown a pervasive pattern of sidelining science to advance his political agenda to keep his base in line.
OPP bloggers agree with Trumps actions but at what cost. Career EPA staffers were shaken when Pruitt deregulated the Clean Air and Water Act. When they expressed there concerns they were either demoted, there positions were eliminated or just flat out fired. Trump did the same thing at the state department.
When these officials were let go Trump filled these positions with lobbyist who had the authority to deregulate or eliminating standards and these positions were filled by people with close ties to the oil, coal and gas industries.
All the EPA career staffers understand the Trump agenda will be to repeal everything requested by the fossil fuel industry.
This has been Trumps two year attack on the EPA to eliminate scientists, or career officials that over almost 50 years have compiled 50 years of reseach has been dumped from the EPA data bank. CleanAir, Clean Water, Soil pollutants, climate change Ocean pollutants all that data is gone. 50 years of reseach billions of dollars spent and the Trump dumped.
As it is in politics, economy, air, Water or our environment, it is all based on a world of ideas. It’s all a competition of ideas so what does that mean disagreement but disagreement helps us to innovate, improve, correct and find the truth. We now have a president that fires, degrades, or humiliates anybody who disagrees.
No president has all the answers but as each administration begins they have to rely on our career professional that have given there lives to public service wether it’s our economy, foreign policy, Healthcare, our environment, our military professionals, CBP professionals CBO Office, GAO Office, the FBI, CIA, Homeland Security, But what we have now is agree with my political agenda or be fired.
Why is it with Trump supporters they just believe everything Trump says and Trump ignores every career professionals advice. The White House is a revolving door of people who tried to give Trump advice.

don't you realize you have been lied to for years by these demorats. They tried to pull a fast one and depose president Trump and it blew up in their face,but it still has cost the people much because Trump has been defending from these lies.

Where did you come up with Muellar having nothing. 7 Trump campaign officials either in jail or headed to jail and more to come not sure but that doesn’t mean nothing. Nobody tried to depose Trump he agreed to answer questions in writing after he told the American people he would be happy to testify.
Mueller report has not come out yet. Did Muellar send you a copy.
Besides what does that have to do with this topic. Muellar has nothing to do with Trump sidelining science.
