That's probably a good thing considering how many topics are posted here daily. It would be a full time job for someone in your position to decide which topics are worthy of conversation. Or, maybe not.

I mean, dog farts, briefs vs boxers, women's sandwich making abilities, and all that fun stuff we talk about is hardly worthy of conversation, is it?
Do you prefer your toilet paper over, or under?

If I may offer a little advice from the lower class, which can be valuable. Tuck, and roll when you fall off of your high horse. It's gonna hurt anyway, but that will help some.

Obvious the individual who responded was not a historian. You could have reminded that individual that Mexico lost the Guerra de Estados Unidos a Mexico (“War of the United States Against Mexico”) in 1847-1848. The end result was the annexation of Texas and according to the treaty of Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, Mexico ceded to the United States nearly all the territory now included in the states of New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, California, Texas, and western Colorado for $15 million and U.S. assumption of its citizens’ claims against Mexico ($3 million). Remind them that we offered to buy Mexican California aka Texas, who won their independence from Mexico some 10 years before, but Mexico was greedy and blood thirsty. Also remind them that they were pivotal issues that caused the War of Aggression in the US. Had it not been for the actions of a mentally defective from Illinois, Mexico and all its territories would be our southern states. So, this land was bought by US blood and money.

The next time one of these educationally stunted and challenged individuals makes claims that these aforementioned lands belong to Mexico, remind them that Mexico started a war, by invading US attacking General Taylor's troops and killing 16. Our Gen. Winfield Scott ended this war by successfully kicking their behinds from Veracruz to Mexico City, culminating with the fall of Mexico in September 1847.

Will you also remind those educationally stunted individuals that what we now call "America" was stolen from the Native Indians -as the white man systematically broke treaty after treaty? Will you remind them that the white settlers from Europe were in fact "invaders" who after the Indians saved their lives during the fierce winter of 1620 repaid them by poisoning their blankets with small pox and later forcing them to live on reservations with little food or water? Then remind them that the majority of 'peoples' living here all came from somewhere else and are little more than thieves. And while you're at it don't forget to remind them that even the fake president's family immigrated here from Germany and Scotland and he has taken on the mantle of "Racist Hypocrite in Chief" while still employing many "illegals" to work for pennies at his golf courses and resorts. Lastly, please, please remind them of what God the Almighty said in Leviticus 19:34 - "never forsake being kind to the strangers and immigrants amongst you -for you were once immigrants yourselves - and I am the Lord thy God."

That's why it's so nice of you to be offering to move into a tent and give your home to a poor native American family.

I don't know how America would survive if it weren't for virtuous entities such as yourself. Perhaps Liz Warren knows someone back on the reservation who could use a good house.

Seth: it is that ignorant attitude you possess that keeps the country in the mess we're in. Since it was "your ancestors" who stole the country why don't you offer to move into a tent and give your home to a poor native family?

Jedi: what a frivolous statement. Not pertinent to today.
You talk about immigrants. The problem is illegals. Confuse the two to try to mislead others.

The "frivolity" is man's desire to "separate" and then dominate those who may appear weaker. When Leviticus and Deuteronomy were written man was not so petty as to limit anyone who was willing to work and contribute positively to the community. Even with the advent of 'borders' you and those who think like you do overlook two important facts: 1) Europeans did in fact "invade" what we now call America and stole what rightfully belonged to others, and 2) God owns the world and all that's in it - we all are just renters. BTW - if you and Trump were not so heartless you wouldn't overlook the millions who come here and attempt to adhere to the laws by requesting asylum - what's your excuse for denying them the same freedoms you hold so dear?

You must be mistaking me for one of your fellow social justice warriors who feel that I am obligated to live with guilt over things people did in another century, when human sensibilities were different and our society was still evolving. Should I also feel responsible for the Democrats owning slaves, the witch burnings at Salem and every other injustice committed by people who were here before my grandparents arrived nearly a century ago?

That's right, my cretinous friend, my ancestors were still living in Ukraine and Poland back then.

If you want to bring up long ago events and accuse all modern day Americans of being murderers and thieves as a result, don't expect to find a sympathetic ear anyplace other than somewhere down that dark, anti-America hole from whence your ilk seem to come.

Depending on what was up, "What's up Cabron" could work.

I like the answer “No” I can’t excuse you. You’ve hurt my feelings. That would get him. No one wants any hurt feelings, do we?

Thank you. I also add, the "Indians" took the land by conquest of the previous land holders and as those individuals took it by conquest of those who occupied the land before them as has happened from the start of time. As the Spaniards did to Mexico and points further south. There are no indigenous people (with exception of parts of Africa and Australia) in any developed nation. And the hostile take over of land continues as the muslims and mexicans try to invade and displace US citizens.

G*d did say be kind to "strangers" however, he did not direct the Hebrew to be a doormat. Indeed, He directed His people to stay separate from them (Leviticus 18 and 19). I see your quote often, but those who quote are not aware that the Hebrew language lacks an exact equivalent to the Greek noun proselyte, which means a newcomer (the stranger you reference). However, in the Old Testament, G*d's law does allow the ger, usually rendered "stranger," to become a full-fledged citizen of Israel. To do this, he needed to become circumcised. Exodus 12:48. Meaning that the "stranger" had to accept all the laws given to the Hebrew and abandon their pagan religions to include those laws they lived under. They had to learn Hebrew in addition to 613 individual laws plus earn enough money to buy their own animals and feed the hungry passing through their encampments.

There is no hint of G*d expected the Israelites (Hebrews) to seek converts among the heathen by actively preaching to—or, at—them. Here, there is no coercion, subtle or otherwise; the Gentile convert voluntarily gives himself to come under the Old Covenant. Deuteronomy 4:5-7 states the dynamics of this conversion.

Ergo, it is those "strangers" whom the Hebrew is directed to be thoughtful and kind to, not invaders or pagans. And we, US citizens, welcome immigrants under similar conditions... come, learn our language, obey our laws and secure gainful employment.... otherwise you are free to return to wherever you left. We are not inviting them or encouraging them to trespass, but should they come through the avenues of our laws, then after they meet requirements will not be treated differently than any other citizen of the US.
