That’s the timbre of your retorts.

Hmm? I suppose by this, you are saying that my responses to your posts are childish. Perhaps. In our exchanges, like an inquisitive child, I have asked you several questions about your understanding of certain word definitions. And like a parent who doesn't know the answers you have tried diversion and distraction. Should I conclude that you have no understanding of the words you use, or perhaps your understanding is inchoate and with time and study you will be able to express it?

Google furnishes facts, sometimes, so if it's facts you crave, Google it.

So I googled, "How does Mikeyavelli define humor and politically correct", and only found this:

Mikeyavelli wrote: ... I don't vote for a president based on his sense of humor. ... the right to speak his own mind, whether politically correct or not; IS free speech.

It seems Google cannot supply me with the facts on Mikeyavelli's definitions of humor and politically correct. Sad.

I use facts at my leisure.

Do you mean, you only use facts when it's convenient for you, otherwise...what do you use?

I won't be put to task.

So you don't feel obliged to explain what you mean when you say things, so we must be satisfied with whatever we conclude?

Miss Vickie was Tiny Tim's unfortunate bride.

That's the problem with only relying on one's memory. Google helped me find "Miss Yvonne, the Most Beautiful Woman in Puppet Land."

Creepy, but no where near as creepy as Wacko Jacko.

I never was that big a fan of Michael Jackson's music, but I liked his dance moves quite a bit. Imagine how shocked I was when I found out he stole the moonwalk from Josh Futturman (who stole it from MJ (who stole it from Josh Futturman (who stole it from MJ (who...))))

I voted for Trump because I thought he was funny, irreverent, blunt, tough, indefatigable, and above all, Trump loves America.
Humor is anything that makes anyone laugh.
Truth is where your own questions are answered.

I too think President Trump is funny. When my family members tell me, "You're sooo funny", I reply, "Yes, but looks aren't everything." I don't mean to imply that I think President Trump is funny looking. I do think he looked better when he styled himself a Democrat, but that's just my personal prejudice.

I'm sure he loves America for the opportunities he's had with her.

Is there anything that someone has not laughed at? Horace Walpole wrote, "The world is a comedy to those that think; a tragedy to those that feel." Do you think too much?

My questions seem seldom answered on OPP. Does that mean I'll find no Truth here?

Rashomon, the ancient Japanese tale of a murder, seen 7 different ways.
The truth is, someone was murdered. By whom and how are up to many perceptions.
Trump speaks truth to me.
And the ridiculous argument that Trump became president to enrich himself must be embarrassing for you to use. Even you could do better than that.

Hmm? Are you admitting to being a relativist?

I said, "I'm sure he loves America for the opportunities he's had with her." I said nothing about the presidency being a source of financial enrichment for him. There are some indications that winning the presidency might end up being a financial burden. Some speculate that he never thought (intended) to win. I doubt that. I think it was a fore drawn conclusion that Hillary Clinton would get the Democratic Party nomination. I think it not unreasonable to think that any Republican (except for Trump) would win against her. I think the election of President Trump will be Comey's legacy.

Hilliar lost the election at "what difference does it make".
Trump won it before he ran; at "birther", when he alone forced Obama to produce a phony birth certificate. America noticed both incidents, and voted.
Relativism? Never thought about it. I just live it. Seems like the lefty moralities are turning back to Mayan culture where they sacrifice children to the gods for better weather and they all live in equal misery under one rule and one roof.

pedant - a person who is excessively concerned with minor details and rules or with displaying academic learning.

Hmm, perhaps. But where one may disregard minor details, another might see an essential elements. Drain plug, why would my boat need that little thing? But officer, that red light was just a minor detail.

academic:
1. relating to education and scholarship.
2. not of practical relevance; of only theoretical interest.

learning: knowledge acquired through experience, study, or being taught

So,...excessively concerned...with displaying academic learning...?

Are you hinting that you are satisfied with displaying ignorance?

I am a mixed race mutt- I work hard every day and I am 65 years old. In the 1600s part of my family were German slaves sold by their ships captain in London. In that same time frame I had an African ancestor more than likely a slave girl raped by her white master. I am around 25% native American-decended from Indians whose land was stolen and driven out of Canada. My tribe was declared extinct but here I am. My ancestors gave me the gift of life and that is really all the reparations that I need.

I'm a pure bred white guy. I can pass for anything I say I am at the time; Irish, Swiss, Jewish, whatever.
I am comfortably retired, good health, great wife , and a staunch Trump supporter.
From the time I was 7 years old I have worked. I can't believe how well it's paid off. I am living the best time of my life. Don't want change.
