You already know why. Progressives do not want an accurate count of criminal illegal aliens within our borders.

Yes, i just want Dems to admit it!!!...However i wont hold my breath and neither should you!!
The big deal is that Demos don't want their data base for voter fraud exposed to a bright light. It might encourage a few more sleepy people to oppose open borders.

The census is supposed to count all people wether they are citizens or not. There is concern that a citizenship question will cause non citizens to refuse to answer the census thus depriving some districts of representation and also reducing federal programs determined by population. It is a double edge sword. A repressed count would starve communities with large undocumented populations of federal resources which appeals to many conservatives. But a number of red states have these populations and it could cost them a house seat. What all Americans should want is as accurate a count as possible as our founders intended.

Since none citizens are not supposed to vote, although we know they do, they should not count in determining Congressional representation.

Evidently you believe that criminal illegal aliens should be allowed congressional representation.

Not welfare things like grants to police and fire departments, road funding and money for airports are based on population. Undocumented residents can not receive welfare or vote.
