I was born and raised here,and I will not totally dismissed your claim,of it being pragmatically economical,as oppose to an emotional passionate thing.There are approximately,13 million people in Illinois,10 million or so in the Chicago metropolitan area,the Chicago police force has about 13 thousand police on payroll,due the math from there.The expedient thing to do is to be expedient in chooseing who you are going to police for,choose the ones that can make trouble for you if you don't provide the proper service-but remember,they promised as the Constitution does they serve and protect with an unbiasedness,so what does that mean from the peoples perspective who incurrs and bares the brunt of their discriminatory practices.when they are unjustly incarcerated,or shouts a plea for help,and don't get it.What are they expected to do or say,It is OK ,I understand.

How in the hell did you get I think I'm a prosecuting attorney out of what I said.
I merely stated that it depends on who the lie was told on that will dictate whether or not they will prosecute the case.This applies more or less not only specifically to Jussie Smollett,the individual,but to Smollett across the board as a black male, and as a gay- and furthermore ,I live where the incident is occurring,as a matter of fact, I virtually live down the street from Smollett,and are black as Smolett is, although I am not gay,I 've suffered the slings and arrows of what gay suffers-so I don't have to be a prosecutor to know what their history is as to whether or not, and the extent in which they would prosecute the likes of people such as myself.Again,I wish "YOU PEOPLE" would and should SHUT THE F_ _ _ UP!!!!!! ,you always profess to,and never know what you're talking about.

And from what I’ve heard authorities have even found the magazines where the words were cut out and pasted into the hoax letter. That little stunt is worth 10 years in federal prison.
Myself, I can’t get enough of this charade. Reminds me of the Scott Peterson case which I followed breathlessly awaiting each new development. And now Smollett has doubled down and retained showboat attorney Mark Geragos to defend him. Meaning that we’re in for a real show. He’ll blame the Chicago police for their rush to judgment. Despite the mountain of evidence.
Not that it’ll necessarily all work out for Smollett. Scott Peterson is
now on San Quentin’s death row.
Who cares? As they say in Hollywood, and as Smollett obviously believes, “the show must go on.” Yea! I’m gonna go pop some popcorn!
