In Islam maybe but not in Christianity. In His time Christ treated women with much more respect than most men did. Men and woman are spiritually equal. They have different roles but one is not placed above the other.

Ah well, you've hit another issue on the head, I believe... as yourself, that souls are genderless, ergo, God also. The Bible teaches us that we are created in God's image, and in our callow and parochial minds we assume image means physically, I ask, what does the "image" really mean? Due to this physical image and gender preference how did that set the stage for humanity for thousands of years, and where or how did it position women? But I don't mean to get us off topic, we can save this for another topic or our pm, unless you'd like to continue to include this in.

Jesus said, " When you make the two one, and when you make the inside like the outside, and the outside like the inside, and the above like the below, and when you make the male and the female one in the same...so that the male not be male nor the female female; and when you fashion eyes in the place of an eye, and a hand in place of a hand, and a foot in place of a foot, and a likeness in place of a likeness; ...then you will enter the kingdom of God." Gospel of Thomas

As in our singular perception of God and "his" image, so may our perception of a fiery hell be misleading, is a fiery hell a physical place into the celestial cosmos or simply in our mind? Or is there only a heaven along with it's well of souls, a rebirth followed by another attempt to a higher consciousness and plane?

Our souls? Is a soul born, or are they not forever alive? Are they shining lights separate from the great body of radiance, we call heaven or God. Do our souls have no birth nor death but are immutable boundless lights, only here taking on this physical form to learn life's lessons, which would never be punished for our mortal failings, rather be reborn in order to make atonement of our past life and attempt to once again arrive at our souls destination of their lesson learned. ???

That is a wonderful idea! You are not intelligent enough to even understand what I asked you!

Peter is not the rock, Jesus Christ is! We have gone over this for over a year, no use to do again! No one stole scriptures from the Catholic Church! The Catholic Church never owned them to start with!

47,000 preachers don't sale scriptures, they are free, always have been!

Maybe someday you will come up with something new other than your Sola Scriptura or your 47,000 preachers that sale scriptures for seed money, LOL! I'm bored with your same statements over and over again!

Good Luck!
That is a wonderful idea! You are not intelligent... (show quote)

You keep on asking same questions, you will receive same answers.
All these things were already discussed, unless your brain could not follow.

All 47,000 Protestant pastors sell the Word of God to the world for making them very wealthy.
Sola Scriptura is Man-Made. It became a business enterprise to enrich pastors, victimizing so many innocent people specially the poor.

I think you are most stupid to understand what Jesus had said.
Matthew 16:18 The Greek word for Peter means rock.

8 And I tell you that you are Peter,[a] and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades[b] will not overcome it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be[c] bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[d] loosed in heaven.” 20 Then he ordered his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah.

Henry the VIII found out that the Cardinal Thomas Wosley had a better house than he did and took it away him, so he was doing alright. ( This is from a book I have and if you want, I'll look this up)
These are historical facts as far as I know. The printing press helped bring about the protestants, because they could read the words for themselves, although many could still not read in any language, they DID understand spoken English.
The middle ages were a time of corruption for the RCC, and Wosley was a prime example.
I posted not to upset you but to balance your views as you seem to have particular hatred for protestants, and they only came on the scene after acknowledging the corruption that they saw. There was more to the story but basically, this is it.

You hate me because I am a Catholic. I belong to the church of Christ. I don't care how you hate me. I am consistent with my faith in God.

Catholics don't hate people. We preach love, and service to all the children of God.
You hate me because I disclosed the defects of your Protestant faith under Sola Scriptura.

Sola Scriptura is man-made, created during the 16th century. As events transpired, it became an "Enterprise System", where thousands of your pastors all over the world sell the "word" of God to the people. Various interpretations of your gospel have made these prolific pastors so rich, victimizing the poorest people of the world using the phrase "SEED MONEY". The seed money went to their bank accounts many of them became the richest people of the world for a short period of time.

I feel a slight correction here IMHO, I agree, Jesus treated women equally, Christianity, based in religious protocol and very parochial definitely did not. Who are all the heads of church? Men. The RCC as it where only men can rise in stature, a nun can only go as high as Mother Superior. That equates to becoming as high as on can in their second class citizenship.

I am not a Catholic but I still have no issues with men as the leaders in that church - though I used to when I was young. Women have a different but no less important role than men.

What man does is take whats in the bible and makes a mess of it. IMO

Christ and the Holy Spirit both submit to the Father but as part of the Trinity they are all equal. Though women are to submit to their husbands that too doesn't mean they are not equal or that the man is supposed to order a woman around. A good wife is a golden crown for him. He is to treat her as Christ treated his church and honor her.

There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Gal 3:28

I don't know if any of that made sense. I'm very tired. lol

I am not talking to you Morgan. Have some manners please. Unless you are invited, please don't interfere.

Whatever the Vatican has belongs to God. God owns everything we have. That is why we built the most beautiful cathedrals because it belongs to God. The Tabernacle of God was made of gold.

Now, Morgan, your fellow protestant make their toilet seat gold. E.g. Joyce Meyers golden commode. Originally it was a toilet seat, but later on replaced to a commode, to avoid criticism.

Henry the VIII was mad at Wosley because he failed to negotiate with the Pope an annulment of Henry's marriage with Cathrine of Aragon. Wosley later on was charged by the king. He died of natural causes after that.

The past crimes of the head of the RCC Church no longer exist at present and were corrected. Those were the times, when civilization was far behind, and when most in Europe and the whole world had practiced it.

Now, we live in a civilized world. The past had been corrected, what matters now is the present.

Another topic.2/21/2019

God has appointed men as leaders in the home and in the church
http://www.oldpaths.com/Archive/Davison/Roy/Allen/1940/men.html 1/1

After Adam and Eve sinned, God appointed the
husband as leader in the home: “To the woman
He said: ‘I will greatly multiply your sorrow and
your conception; in pain you shall bring forth
children; your desire shall be for your husband,
and he shall rule over you’” (Genesis 3:16).

The leadership position of men in the church is
supported by Paul in this way: “For Adam was
formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not
deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell
into transgression” (1 Timothy 2:13, 14).

Thus, God’s appointment of men as leaders is
based on the order of creation (1) and on the
Fall (2), not on temporary cultural
circumstances as is sometimes claimed

Ephesians 5:22
Wives and Husbands
21 Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. 22 Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, His body, of which He is the Savior
