Mmm-hmm. On the grounds that you might incriminate yourself, no doubt. That's okay, I'll forgive you.

If it was your first time away from home it must've been a shock. For me it was no big deal because I was a zoomie. lol

No, not my first time away from home, but it definitely/eventually proved quite the shock.

A 'zoomie,' huh Okay.

That's what they called us - AF. We generally had an easier time of it than the others. Much better food and better barracks.

Air force, huh? You threw me with that term, as I had no familiarity or first-hand memory of it.

Yeah, if you had something other that C-rations or K-rations...you ate better. And, we spent many a night in fox-holes or underground bunkers. But...occasionally, circumstances improved.

We did have C-rats on deployment and they were a lot better than MREs - the early MREs. I sat in an air conditioned room surrounded by radio equipment and it was so cold we wore our parkas even in the summer. That's the extent of my hardship in the military which was really no hardship at all.

Our chow halls were definitely the best.

One thing all Americans are good at is screwing up a language. We don't even know what each other is saying let alone someone from another country why would anyone one want us to learn their language just so we can Americanize it so no one knows what we're saying. We're already at that point with our own language. Did you by any chance understand this because by the time I got to the end I was kinda confused
