“Morning Joe” co-host Joe Scarborough on Tuesday looked at the recent statements and actions of Donald Trump and said that he is amazed that the president still still has any supporters left.
While talking about Trump’s decision to bypass congressional authority to fund his proposed border wall by declaring a national emergency, Scarborough said it was appalling that millions of Americans can look at the president and approve of the job he’s doing:

“The most frightening part of all this… it’s the people who still — two and a half years after the racism, after the lies, after the breaching of constitutional norms, after the embrace of Putin, after the embrace of strongmen around the world, after the mocking of democratic values all over the world, after the contempt he has shown for democratically elected traditional American allies — the fact that there are so many who still support him.”

He then expressed wonderment that any human being could continue to support a person who tells blatant and easily disprovable lies every day.
“Four out of ten Americans are still okay with the lies every day, the racism every day,” Scarborough said.

Racism Has Become the Norm for Republicans
Last fall we reported that Republican candidates were using racism to try to win the midterm elections, saying:
“The GOP has met with great success when they use racism, bigotry and fear to motivate voters. Because of this they have been able to sell average Americans on their programs which actually hurt average Americans economically.”

Obviously it didn’t work well for Republicans in the midterms, but that doesn’t mean they have changed their playbook.
In November, Michael Steele, a former chairman of the Republican National Committee (RNC), spoke up against the racism of his party. He said that “GOP candidates have allowed President Donald Trump’s inherent racism to take over their messaging.”

“It’s not like Republicans don’t have a narrative they can go out into the country and talk about,” Steele said. “But no, they’ve fallen into this bucket where they feel they can peddle, or at least stay silent on inherent racism, misogynistic language, and bad behavior.”

Joe Scarborough is correct. It is truly appalling that four out of every ten Americans support Trump despite his lies and his blatant racism. The good news of course is that 60% of voters do not support Trump. It is up to us to save America from a president whose desire is to create a white supremacist dictatorship.

Although I am not for trumpy's border wall, what is racist about enforcing our immigration laws and stopping the invasion of illegals, criminals, gangs and terrorists? Stop the birthright citizenship crap, stop the amnesty excuse crap, stop the phony asylum excuse, stop the un-American sanctuary city bullshit and STOP the dangerous visa program. More illegals are in the US each year because of their overstaying their temporary visas than get in across the border illegally.

"During fiscal 2017, the Department of Homeland Security found that the number of immigrants that overstayed their visas was more than double those apprehended at the border during the same time frame."

http://www.cnbc.com/2019/01/08/despite-trumps-claims-most-illegal-immigration-is-not-at-the-southern-border.html

http://www.npr.org/2019/01/16/686056668/for-seventh-consecutive-year-visa-overstays-exceeded-illegal-border-crossings

Is stopping the flood of illegals racist? NO! Illegal immigration is not about racism--it is about the LAW! That is the bullshit identity politics that moonbats and the fake media use to attack trumpy because he figured out how to beat bitch clinton's sorry ass by channeling white identity politics — the nemesis of Democratic identity politics and they cannot get over their butthurt.

Scarborough is a moonbatty fool buying into the identity politics of the left wing of the corporate party. Let's face it, screaming at some one or group calling them racist, sexist, xenophobic or whatever is not the way to get them to change.

Nobody wants to be shot and killed. Everyone wants to be healthy. Everyone wants the government to leave them alone. Nobody thinks children should suffer because their parents are idiots. What we disagree on is how to make these things happen, not on whether or not they SHOULD happen.

The identity politics of both arms of the corporate party is a distraction and a scam. It tries to divide Americans harmed by run-away economic inequality into hostile camps who are so preoccupied with each other that they fail to see their common oppressor: a wealthy capitalist elite that has captured their government by funding the elections of politicians in both parties.

You are mistaken. Of course, since you are a Liberal that is hardly surprising. From Wiki...

While originally the term referred primarily to the Hispanos of New Mexico within the United States[36], today, organizations in the country use the term as a broad catchall to refer to persons with a historical and cultural relationship with Spain, such as Equatorial Guinea and Philippines which are- regardless of race and ethnicity.[1][2] The U.S. Census Bureau defines the ethnonym Hispanic or Latino to refer to "a person of Cuban, Mexican, Puerto Rican, South or Central American, or other Spanish culture or origin regardless of race"[37] and states that Hispanics or Latinos can be of any race, any ancestry, any ethnicity.[38] Generically, this limits the definition of Hispanic or Latino to people from the Caribbean, Central and South America, or other Hispanic (Spanish) culture or origin, regardless of race. Latino can refer to males or females, while Latina refers to only females.

Because of the technical distinctions involved in defining "race" vs. "ethnicity," there is confusion among the general population about the designation of Hispanic identity. Currently, the United States Census Bureau defines six race categories:[39]
White or Caucasian
Black or African American
American Indian or Alaska Native
Asian
Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander
Some Other Race
According to census reports, of the above races the largest number of Hispanic or Latinos are of the WHITE race, the second largest number come from the Native American/American Indian race who are the indigenous people of the Americas. The inhabitants of Easter Island are Pacific Islanders and since the island belongs to Chile they are theoretically Hispanic or Latinos. Because Hispanic roots are considered aligned with a European ancestry (Spain/Portugal), Hispanic/Latino ancestry is defined solely as an ethnic designation (similar to being Norse or Germanic). Therefore, a person of Hispanic descent is typically defined using both race and ethnicity as an identifier—i.e., Black-Hispanic, White-Hispanic, Asian-Hispanic, Amerindian-Hispanic or "other race" Hispanic
There are other definitions as well, but I deemed this one more suitable to the Liberal mentality since it doesn't have very many big words for you to wrestle.
Tell me MORE about the Hispanic Race,

While you are at it, it might behoove you to refrain from insulting your betters until you manage to grajeeate sikth grad.

Appropriate and Liberals don't belong in the same sentence, the same paragraph, or for that matter the same zip code.

Fortunately I don't live in a glass house. I know how to be civil. Liberals are rarely worth the effort.

I sure didn't know that we "democratically elected our allies!!!"
Morning Jo is a smuck and a dead intern was found in his office. It was ruled natural causes, but even a man with his head removed was ruled "natural causes" (this kind of a coroners report being for Dems only).
For those who know, at least Trump hasn't given us a bunch of "okie doke".

You say that Trump is a liar, I agree. But you too are lying stating that Trump is a racist. He was branded as a racist by the liberal media and Democrats. When Trump first took office, he wanted to make America safer by limiting the entry to the US of people from those countries that harbor terrorists. He wasn’t targeting them because of race. But liberals slandered his as a racist. They have perpetuated this untruth to where it has become a mantra for Democrats.

Liberals are doing the same thing regarding the wall. “Trump is a racist because he wants to build a wall”. HE WANTS TO STOP THE FLOW PEOPLE”, PERIOD. It’s not about race.

Millions of immigrants poured into America through Ellis Island. It was done orderly and legally. There are 20 million people who live here that were not invited. We need to have an Ellis Island on our southern border.
