True story: My son married a Hatfield....her maiden name is actually Hatfield. We're glad because it's been widly rumored that the McCoy's lineage contained information that they had Von Hippel-Lindau disease, a rare, inherited condition that produces tumors of the eyes, ears, pancreas and adrenal glands as well as high blood pressure, a racing heartbeat and increased “fight or flight” stress hormones, and that's why they kept on fighting and fighting, when the Hatfields were willing to call it a truce...

Mine was...I had to put a shotgun to The Sgt. Major's head to convince her to marry me.
