She's not quite as smart as she thinks she is. And here's the proof. https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2019/02/the_wild_and_wacky_mind_of_alexandria_ocasiocortez.html

She is smart enough, and willing to learn, her polling numbers are twice those of the idiot Pumpkinfuhrer, which is great news. Speaking of which if you want to see a blithering moron who can’t speak without lying or contradicting himself look at the Orange Buffoons performance at the national prayer breakfast he made an abject ass of himself.

Now here is the typical, liberal follower of AOC. Explains a lot, doesn’t it?

She is what she is, my appreciation for her is how much she gets under the skin of the right wing nutters. She represents her district well which is why she was elected. Her green new deal will not be implemented but with the Pumpkinfuhrers impending downfall we will see a return to the move to carbon neutral energy sources, it makes too much sense economically and ecologicaly to do otherwise. Her points on changing ethical standards in congress and for the president is spot on... eliminate pay to play and congress profiting from legislation they pass. This is pretty tough stuff to argue against.

FREE LUNCH!

For our defense, we need totally free healthcare for all and expense-paid education at all levels. Currently, over 75% of applications for military service are rejected for reasons of health and/or education. The cure? Finance patients and students exactly as we finance soldiers! It could well be part of the defense budget (where it may escape notice!), with an army of auditors and sheriffs to fight waste, fraud, and abuse. Of course, without question, every family should always be able to buy their own healthcare and education in a totally free marketplace!

Cost? Other nations have government-supported healthcare and education with lower costs than those now saddled upon our old and young. Anyway, our problem is NEVER availability of money but rather inflation, which the Fed controls. If necessary, Congress could increase taxes, which should not be our major concern. It’s after-tax earnings that matter most and that’s what “deficit spending” really is: the annual net increase in private savings, domestic and foreign.

And of course, after-tax earnings bring prosperity! World War II spending created our suburbs and gave us 30 years of prosperity. Spending on the Marshall Plan, the Korean War, Cold War rearmament, nuclear energy, NASA, Vietnam, etc., also contributed to our post-war prosperity.

Federal debt? As explained* by Ben Bernanke, Princeton U. economist and ex-Fed Chair, the Fed, with consent of Congress, can buy federal debt directly from the Treasury! No problem!

With Social Security numbers identifying all individuals, computers would manage everything with minimum personnel. Congress would negotiate prices and fees for all goods and services, pay everyone their just worth, and never ever send a bill for service to a patient or to a student!

Yes, there will be growing pains! The first “Free Lunch” problem will be the scarcity of physical resources, especially dentists, whom many of our poor have never seen. And there will not be enough rural hospitals and doctors. Until the system is fully grown, such scarcity will require a process of triage to set priorities. That is why “Free Lunch” would be implemented gradually!

Education now has or soon will have all the needed resources but healthcare will be lacking. In ten years or so, if we can teach doctors and build like China, there may be enough medical resources for slack to appear. By then, there should also be no more skilled labor shortages. And much of our huge prison population could and should be trained to care for sick and old.

Let’s start now by extending Medicare to children up to age 19 and to students up to age 30. We need only augment our current system. Annually, we should increase the entry age for Medicare one year (age 19 to age 20) and decrease the entry age for Medicare one year (age 67 to age 66). When possible, annually increase/decrease by two or more years, until EVERYONE has Medicare. Then, fire the health insurance industry and declare all healthcare and all education, including neighborhood nurseries, day-care, and pre-K to be totally free, cradle to the grave!

Totally free education at all levels and totally free healthcare for all with just enough taxation to prevent inflation will create high deficit spending (= high after-tax earnings!) and prosperity!
Fire the deficit hawks! Elect Social Democrats! Make America REALLY Great and Totally Free!

You are a true socialist who thinks the use of other people’s money for the supposed benefits that you want are okay. Socialism is a proven failure in many parts of the world and it is being proven wrong today in Venezuela. Why any one who thinks he is in his right mind would advocate a proven failure is a mystery to me. You sound like someone who has been on the dole your whole life and isn’t aware that a person working for and obtaining his own self satisfaction with life is more at ease with himself than one who lets the government decide what is good and best for him.
Were you also a fan of Obama phones. You are aware that a great many people thought that Obama actually bought them himself. Such is the delusion of the Left who always has their hand out for someone to take care of all their needs. Big problem, though in small countries where the people are taxed up to 80 or 90 percent of their income, it doesn’t work. Get a little self esteem and give yourself a leg up. Don’t rely on others to take care of you.

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day, but I wouldn’t want to schedule my life by it.
The rest of her great ideas come from an immature mind of a person that has a very high opinion of herself that is definitely not warranted. You may enjoy her, but that says less about you than her.

You are always so wrong. Your posting on the third term abortion of a fetus with cervical spina bifida was heart wrenching, but as usual it was shot through with misrepresentations and medical half-truths.

There is a world of difference between the mother's reaction to the abortion of a deformed fetus and allowing it to take its course. In both cases, the mother is left with sadness and other detrimental emotions, including guilt but the latter is far greater with abortion. The woman knows it is unnatural and the mother's hormonal reaction reflects it. Drug addiction, alcoholism and self-destructive behavior are far greater post-abortion.

One of the original arguments in favor of legalized abortion was the deaths of women from illegal abortions. Horrible, of course, but the mid-1960s figure was about 246.

I’m just glad that I support no political philosophy that would require attempting to defend the ideas presented by AOC, Corey Booker (credibly accused sexual assaulter), Ellison (credibly accused sexual assaulter), Kamala Harris (credibly accused side chick and home wrecker), nor have to realize I’m siding with people like Don Lemon (proven racist and bigot) or Joy Behar (proven hypocrite, racist and bigot). I believe in God and that America is the greatest country on earth. No other country has provided so much opportunity to everyone across the economic, racial or gender spectrum. The policies that are consistently being pushed by Democrats, socialists and Muslims (as I repeat myself) do not provide opportunity, only restriction.

She'd a paid for socialist mouth piece, and feminine, with all due respect to her and the women movement.

I can put some intelligence political, social questions before her, and show the world her true value or who selected her. Most females in government and males hate the Truth, and don't think beyond the political script. Don't be surprise at anything she say or can't defend. I'm just waiting for the lesbian to turn her out in Congress, and have her supporting the homosexual agenda. The violence overthrowing of America.
