A recent poll of Venezuelans shows that more than 80% of the people are against sanctions and other international interventions to remove President Maduro. Coup plotters have rejected talks with Maduro and his team.

It wasn't Trump, it was the deep state. The article was written about by a couple of off balance reporters who didn't check the facts. Trump actually wants the Venezuelans to choose who their leader is.

Remember here, its all about OIL.. Venezuela has more oil than Saudi Arabia and the United States combined. Again, the ugly dollar rears its head.

The recent march in the streets of Caracas was about KEEPING President Maduro. Watch the video on YouTube in Spanish where Maduro addresses the people and you will see its US imperialism (ya, where does that come from..??) that is standing in the way of progress with the present Venezuelan government.

I agree completely. The US needs to stay out of the internal operations of other nations when it does not directly negatively affect us. We have no right to interfere in the politics of that country. But, I do not support their citizens running away and burdening neighboring countries. They should be staying home, banding together, protesting, etc, fighting for change. The people there are the only ones with the RIGHT to choose change and the RIGHT to make it happen and if they are not willing to fight for themselves and their communities, maybe they don't deserve better. But we people of the USA need to be paying attention because our own country is steadily heading down the same path of self destruction and those of us with the sense to understand do not seem to be preventing it. I do not know what is going to happen to my country, but the future seems very dismal. I am old, unable to be much help in an insurrection or civil war for our future, but can see few options.
