I disagree, my friend.

The president made clear he was proud to own the shutdown.
He had multiple opportunities to open the government and then continue negotiations, but refused to do that. He didn't want to negotiate. He thought he could win by taking government workers hostage.

He made his bet and lost.

He had 2 years to get his border wall when Republicans controlled both houses of Congress.
But he could not make that happen because the majority of American people do not want it.

You do remember that during those so called opportunistic two years he still needed 60 votes in the Senate? Furthermore, if, and that's a debatable "if" the majority of Americans do not want a wall then what is your solution to stop criminal illegal aliens from crossing our border? Remember, the objective is to keep them from placing a single boot on our soil because once they do they get a hearing. Over 800,000 backlog now. And if a poll, asked correctly without slanting, showed a majority of Americans did not want a wall, for some odd reason, but the Congress and the Senate agreed on a wall (as they did during Obama's criminal reign) for defense, safety, etc, should the majority opinion supersede the government decision to build a wall?

Obama wall good. Trump wall bad. Conclusion: Progressives are dangerous to our Republic.

Naaahhh I dont get sore with you guys, I just need to see more throttling actions everyday.

We dont’ have as much time as you guys think.

There’s plenty of other bad things going on behind the scenes that have me concerned.

People working together to destroy us here and abroad and trying to take out Trump and worse.

Now the DAVOS meeting scumbags are up to no good too as they all start plotting to destroy Trump’s progress on economics here and abroad.

Something bad is coming any minute now.

That's funny I keep telling you the same thing, don't I?

Which is why I keep imploring you to focus on the play on the field. Fk whatever kind of strategy we went into the game with.

I truly love your reasoning...

Critical thinking at its best.

My life did not change, although a young woman I work with had a discussion with her parents about lending them money because her father was working without pay. Both parents work, but life in New York is expensive and they were starting to get worried. If the shutdown affected your Social Security payments, how long could you pay your bills before you started to worry? (No sarcasm intended)

The Poll/s you’re referring to were lies by the cabal and MSM...

I took most of those polls and it was exactly the Opposite.

Was there something that government does that you missed or just couldn't live without? Did you breathe a long sigh of relief when the government finally opened its doors again and welcomed you back into its loving arms?

I personally didn't miss a thing. My life carried on as always just like the government was still there, thousands of miles away, doing whatever it is that government does to make my life so much better than... Hmm. I don't know what, because my life doesn't seem to miss them when they're gone. Maybe they just weren't gone long enough. Maybe we should run a little experiment where government shuts down until we feel their absence and ask them back again.

How long do you suppose that might take?

As an aside, a quarter of the government's workforce (800,000 people) was either required to work unpaid or furloughed (PC speak for laid off). Can you imagine a private employer requiring employees to work without knowing when or if a paycheck was in the future? I'm sure there must be a word for that...

Also, did you know that the US Federal government is the largest single employer in the world? 3.2 million employees, and that does not include the military.[/

Did not miss them at all.

So we lost $ 40B because the Wicked Witch of the West wouldn't give President Donald jobs. Trump a paltry $ 5B for a wall that will likely get built sooner or later. All of those Coast Guard and Federal Prison Guards suffered financial hardship all because the Wicked Witch Pelosi would not give President Donald Full Time Jobs. Trump a measly $ 5 B for a needed border wall.

And still stupid people continue to vote Democrat. So very very sad.

So now everyone says Trump caved when all he did was open the government long enough for people like the CG to get paid. Schmuck and Nancy couldn't care less. They are the ones who cost these people while they played politics with something they already voted in favor of.

Which sums it up perfectly. This is why the mainstream media has to produce fake news. If the American people were receiving accurate information, the Democrats would be very tiny minorities in the House and Senate and Democrat presidents would be scarcer than leprechauns.

Paid now though. They just had to wait an extra couple of weeks. In all honesty, knowing the kind of money these government workers pull in, if they can't go for a couple of weeks without a paycheck then they have problems a lot bigger than anything I can fathom.

EXACTLY...anyone with half a brain (see, I've even included the DEMONcRATS) knows you should have 3-6 MONTHS of money in the bank to pay your bills...these pansies started crying before 3 WEEKS!!!!...LOL

If the average man on the street gets furlowed for a period of time, who bails HIM out, NOBODY...and chances are he doesn't get his back pay...so what makes THESE "government" employees special ?!?!?

I think DJT is just giving Putrid Pelosi and Schmuckie Chuckie enough rope to hang themselves....I just hope they televise the execution....
