As of today the cost is already $6 Billion Dollars. And Nancy & Chuck are prepared to let the cost go to $30Billion before they give in to Mr. Trump. The hell with the American People.
This is not something you want talked about at the capitol, on television, in front of congress, on the 29Th.
It is a lot easier to call Mr.Trump a lier when he is inside the White House without Congress directly in front of him.

The United States of America is OUR country, our nation, it is our UNION, it does not belong to the government. The State of OUR UNION is important to We the People.

The House of Representatives is OUR HOUSE. Prior to Woodrow Wilson, the president delivered his SOTU to the House of Reps in writing and it was published in newspapers and special editions for all to read. When the radio came into American homes, it provided the POTUS with a more intimate and direct means to address the CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES, and it has been an American tradition ever since. The HoR was chosen as the venue simply because the house chamber provided ample seating. The president's SOTU address is intended for the American people, not the representatives or senators or SCOTUS justices, or the Joint Chiefs, or the ambassadors that choose attend in person.

The idea that the House of Representatives belongs to the SOH is a stunning admission of ignorance of our history, our system of representative government, and how it is supposed to function. It is the stupidest thing I've heard in a long time. Karl Marx absolutely loved ignorant people. You win a commie cookie.

I'll lay odds that president Trump will simply deliver his SOTU in the Senate where seating is limited and very few Reps will get in, especially that stupid woman and her goose stepping comrades.

The State of the Union address is traditionally given in the House of Representatives, and Pelosi, citing "security concerns" has said she will refuse to offer the House for President Trump to speak. Already former Secret Servicemen have offered to make sure safety concerns are met, but Pelosi isn't interested. President Trump should do what he has been forced to do throughout his presidency...take the State of the Union address directly to the American people in whatever venue he sees fit. He can also avoid the unhinged, hate filled interruptions the radical Democrats and their propaganda ministry, (the laughably called mainstream media,) would no doubt descend to.

As usual, a succinct, factual rebuttal. ALL this is still the refusal to accept the results of the 2016 election. These corrupt beyond words Democrats have repeatedly voted for more than $5 billion for border wall/barrier funding, and are obstructing the will of the American people. New polls say that 93% of Americans know there is crisis at our Southern border, and they want a wall/barrier where the land will accommodate it, approximately 500-700 miles of the 2,000 mile border built to stem the tide of not only illegals who cross to the tune of 60,000 a month, but human trafficking, drugs, terrorists and disease. And the Democrats and their propaganda wing want to keep the government shut down, (has anyone missed these non-essential employees, is it possible it may become clear that they ARE non-essential and the government could do well by paring itself down?) and let the American people endure the crime and other negative results of an open border
