Holding strictly to the intent of the Constitution would be "a hopelessly biased court", woodguru.

If you want to rewrite the Constitution; pass an amendment to the Constitution.
That is how it is supposed to be done.

Ever read 'The Law that never was'?
Quite an expose of what you are referring to.
Improper/cheating of amendment ratification.

Good!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Law_that_Never_Was

The Law That Never Was: The Fraud of the 16th Amendment and Personal Income Tax is a 1985 book by William J. Benson and Martin J. "Red" Beckman which claims that the Sixteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, commonly known as the income tax amendment, was never properly ratified. In 2007, and again in 2009, **** Benson's contentions were ruled to be fraudulent.

Benson's contentions were ruled to be fraudulent.

We HAVE term limits; they're called elections. The problem is an electorate that reelects Senators at 97% and Representatives at about 90% and then bitches that nothing ever changes.

remember House writes spending bills, Senate funds them, the way to control spending is go back to States selecting Senator that can be recalled by the States and dismissed. the Conserative states out number the Spending States. That way spending is controlled. No more BS.

That requires repeal of the 17th Amendment. Since the Amendment became law, Senators have their own little fiefdom in the Capitol Building. They get re-elected at a rate of 97%. You think they will willingly give that up and go back to being a peon?

The lack of integrity among politicians should be no surprise.
Most of them are lawyers.

Bed or bench, she isn't supposed to legislate from either.
