Let's see, Republicans are being destroyed. That MUST be why 2/3 of the states are Republican controlled, why the President and the majority of the Senate have an (R) after their name. The temporary mid term loss of the House is normal. It happened to Bush sr, it happened to Clinton, it happened to W, and it happened to Obama. What you refuse to see is that this year's mid term flip of the House was by the smallest margin in the past four administrations. Most of the RINOs who lost their seats were the ones who were ambivalent on border security. I wonder what your talking (or rather, blathering) point will be in 2020, when Republicans regain the House, have and even bigger majority in the Senate and Trump is re=elected, and the current trend of firing Democrat governors continues?

Do you think they can get anything done? Why didn't they get things done in the last 2 years before the dimwits took over the House? I see nothing but continued dog and pony shows for the sheople, kissing the asses of their corporate donors and worrying about getting re-elected. That is the MO of either arm (dems and repubs) of the corporate party.

Spot on Smedley! Again!
PeterS has no idea what he's talking about. He and his TDS-comrades are still upset that Trump whupped their anointed darling. How dare he!
And as more right-thinking people see that Trump's just talking common sense about things like the need for a border wall, they'll support him. I myself was originally a never-Trumper. But I held my nose and voted for him anyway because, as he said to a black audience, "What do you have to lose?" I knew I couldn't vote for Hillary.
Since his election, the absolute firestorm of criticism he's received, has made me a staunch vocal supporter. He's exactly what's needed during perilous times like these where many politicians are even afraid to tell their pushy, left wing constituents which public bathroom they must use.
I think PeterS will be floored when he learns the results of the 2020 election. Oh Happy Day!
MAGA!

It seem from listening to some of their babbling and slurred speech that they make it a little longer than a hour now. Mike

We agree let them all have cocktail hour and I bet they would get it done, may not care what done is but at least it would be better than this stonewalling in the finest Nixon tradition..

I suspect this is all we can expect though.. Party rules, country be damned.. So unfortunate... Rather pathetic too...

If Pelosi and Schumer declared tomorrow that they had "seen the light" and were totally FOR building the border wall, you would be the very first to post on how vital the wall will be to our Homeland Security.

You lefties HAVE no opinions of your own, your opinion is what Pelosi and Schumer tell you it is.

Not at all. I don't have to "echo" President Trump, because he's doing everything I would want a president to do under todays circumstances. It's more like the president is echoing me.

For someone determined to destroy the opposition party you aren't doing a very good job of it. You people keep using scare tactics to garner support for your various hate based projects and you are becoming the laughing stocks of the country. The only ones SCARED in this country are far right wing conservatives and sadly for you, you are far from the majority in this country. In case you haven't noticed, it's your party that is getting destroyed in this country and what is most pleasant about that fact is that you people are doing it all by yourselves...

Did you get a good return from his single "accomplishment" which is , as well as all of his "intentions" and
"wants" harmful to the middle class and working class..

Strange how and empty head seeks an overflow to fill the space with anything handy..

It's funny that a cheap, small time marxist would post a quote from some rich, "privileged" Hollywood leftist as though Reiner's opinion really has some significance in the real world.

I knew Trump was going to be POTUS by the middle of the first primary debate, and told people that at the time, and being in NYC, I wasn't believed much.

Why did he win? Because he cares more about the middle class, who are a hell of a lot more important in this country than the rich liberal elitists the Democratic Party sucks up to as a matter of course, who THINK they're of some significance to the rest of the population.
