Living 11 miles south of Boulder, CO we are over run by the liberal mindset, however in my outings recently, to the senior center, coffee house, beer joint, (I like my Budweiser) and library I have found some die hard democrats absolutely disgusted and appalled with the antics of Schumer & Pelosi. Maybe there is some hope yet coming out of this blue enclave.

Funny in Obamas 8 years he only talked guns once when he asked congress to think of ways to prevent mentialy ill people from having them! But republicans love nuts with guns!

Whoa there lonesome, you just might want to educate yourself on Obama's stance on guns. Your false statement couldn't be further from the truth.

Taking a whole 8 minutes of prime time to spread more fake news and cooked border numbers all of which the American people have fact checked and found him lying about!
2 years over 8000 lies and counting who could believe anything he says!
On the bright side, they took his mike before he could fully explain to the American people that Afganistan invaded Russia.
and no matter what our intelligence says the Saudi crown prince is innocent!
Just as he sided with Putin in Helsinki

Since you are so much of a know it all, please inform us where Trump lied in his address to the public.
I believe you will not be able to show lies like you have implied. Lonewolfs fake lies. He may have exaggerated one point but no more.

Yep Penny, those places are two hot beds for political debate and I love em! I have had many interesting discussions with people of all political persuasions and have even converted a few, (albeit very few) to the right way of thinking.

Trump's supporters are more behind him than ever. And those who don't have a fatal case of TDS and the few fence straddlers remaining, are starting to see that Trump's just talking common sense. I'm thinking he's going to win and get his wall, by whatever means necessary, and that he's win reelection in a landslide. And all but the most die-hard never-Trumpers (like I was) will come around and see that Trump was right.
Reminds me of when Reagan refused to freeze nuclear proliferation. It seemed like the entire country was demonstrating at nuclear freeze rallies. Even his daughter. True to form, Reagan even upped the ante. He proposed Star Wars! And with that he broke the back of communism and won the cold war. Without firing a shot.
Exactly right Pennylynn! br Trump's supporters are... (show quote)

its the independants that you need Trump wont get them this time

His presidency is already over, it's just a long process when the right refuses to accept the facts.

Declaring a state of emergency when there isn't one will be his end...I'll bet white house counsel is strongly advising that he not go there.

How can you say, with a straight face, that the problem at the border isn't an emergency? There are so many family units crossing the border illegally that the system doesn't have the space in the system to provide adequate housing for these families. Take the monetary challenge to educate these children, who most likely, can't speak English, and to provide medical assistance for these children and their parents and other assistance. Do you think that money will magically appear. That money is a unnecessary drain on our tax paying citizens, many of who will not be able to get the care these illegals will get. These people will get many types of freebies that ordinary citizens can't receive. We have many veterans and others that are on the street that need help but you liberals/progressives don't think of them before the illegal's.

It has always been the woman's choice. Women have been aborting their children for thousands of years. I would not presume to tell someone how to manage their sex life.
The discussion was about roe v wade and if the decision was the right decision.
Based on the Constitution, I believe they made a very bad mistake. They should have declined the case. Now it is such a part of the customary management of pregnancy that it will be almost impossible to over turn.

that part I can agree with but once they took on the case they had no choice that's what I was getting at with the pill etc. They already went down the slippery slope

Imagine a republican centrist like...Garland? How about putting real judges that don't bring any bias to the law?

I guess by bias, you mean those that follow the Constitution and our laws and not the ones that try to make up their own meanings of the laws.

I disagree... the polls this morning showed his popularity among Republicans is still very high... and some Democrats are now seeing who the obstructionists are in DC.

I think we should start keeping a running number that Liberals on OPP lie... or in DC... How many 'misinformed' posts have you created?

You mean like the lie that Schumer told of Trump slamming the table and walking out of the meeting?

2020 will be the tell all Jim. Unaffiliated voters came out in droves in the states that mattered to propel Trump to the White House despite all the polls predicting him losing in a landslide. If the economy stays strong with low unemployment you libs can kiss 2020 goodbye.

but the gop wants to rewrite it to say what they think is right

If that is true then please tell us how the Republicans want to rewrite the Constitution. That is only because you have already declared the Constitution to be only how you believe it should read. Many on the left want to do away with most, if not all, of the Constitution they think is archaic and indefensible. You only need to read letters that leaders of that time stated about the Constitution as written.

do you want a supreme court that rules the way you think the constitution should read and not how it was meant to be interpreted!
I'm guessing the GOP thinks their smarter than the founders and want to rewrite it to suit there way of thinking!

Obviously, you want a SCOTUS that will interpret the Constitution the way you think it should be, which in your case is a level that someone with 3rd grade spelling abilities can understand.
In case YOU'RE interested, you made eight 3rd and 4th grade level grammatical errors in two sentences, and you have the audacity to accuse anyone of thinking that THEY'RE smarter than someone else?
I'm truly curious; how would you know?
