We have spent 10s of billions on the war on drugs. Is there any sign of progress? But it's even more absurd in view of the Fact that most overdose deaths are from drugs manufactured here, in the US. Add those from heroin, which comes primarily from Asia, and you are exhaustively refuted on the drug angle. The claim that terrorists are infiltrating from Mexico is risible. Find one terrorist who is thought to have entered from Mexico. You'll Sturm und drang und kampf, but you will not find EVEN One.
You also ignore the fact that crime rates are lower in Latino communities than in Caucasian, employment rates are just higher and taxes get paid. A number of US businesses, including farming, would be in difficulty without immigrant workers.
Any Trump supporter who feigns outrage at lies is beyond hypocritical. The wall controversy is cobbled up from lies, bigotry and all the other equippage of a demagogue. For instance, consider another FACT; more illegals were deported during Obama's presidency than in any other presidency, including Trump's. He just didn't make it a lurid spectacle.

I think you should take a few dozen of these wonderful illegals into your home. They sleep 24 to a bed and steal their own food. What a good kommiecrat you will be in adopting 48 illegals.

If you knew this, why would you even think Mexico would fully pay for a wall??!! Trump didn't say that Mexico would actually give us money for the wall, there are other ways of paying indirectly. I'm not sure why this is so hard to understand. As far as him "demanding payment", that's crap! Other countries that hate America "demand payment" in the form of "aid" every year, and we give it to them (unfortunately). And that "aid" is to the tune of billions (much, much more than Trump wants for the wall). At least the cost of the wall would be beneficial to Americans and not their enemies!

Did anyone REALLY think Mexico would totally finance a wall that prevents illegal immigration and drugs from coming to America and bolsters their economy? I think not. The "he said Mexico would pay for the wall" excuse is just another way to take a shot at Trump, and a poor one at that. The proposed wall is worth every penny that would be spent on it and although Dems won't admit it, they know it's true. It's a hell of a lot cheaper than the billions spent every year supporting illegal aliens and their families.
If you knew this, why would you even think Mexico ... (show quote)

Only problem is Trump ran on it & said those exact words 100's of times "The "he said Mexico would pay for the wall" excuse is just another way to take a shot at Trump, and a poor one at that. … are you that delusional to protect Trump?... seems you two have reality issues... if you're saying you knew Trump was lying why did you vote for him?...

If Trump builds a barrier/fence/wall and it funnels people to ports of entry, then many many Mexicans will not make it into the country that do now by sneaking across the border...thereby saving billions of dollars in welfare, food stamps, health care costs, housing, education, etc. THAT's how Mexico will pay for the wall.

That welfare trope is transparently false; non-citizens are not eligible to receive those benefits.
There is NO evidence to suggest fraud on that scale.
There is no sense in which Mexico will pay for the wall. El Talon de acero will never be built.

That argument of yours doesn't hold water when you research it: "The number of people who crossed into the United States as temporary visitors was 45 million, with 1.17% of them overstaying their visas according to U.S. Homeland Security." https://www.reference.com/government-politics/many-immigrants-cross-border-year-7698f7af689c7eec

And regarding the illegals sneaking across the border (the number has to be estimated because there is no way to count people who sneak here by several various methods.: https://people.howstuffworks.com/immigration5.htm

Snippet from second link: "Estimates vary significantly as to how many illegal immigrants are living in the U.S. Some experts claim seven million while others say as many as 20 million [ref]. Twelve million is a figure commonly used by news organizations, politicians and some think tanks like the nonpartisan Pew Hispanic Research Center ref. While the U.S. Border Patrol catches many people trying to sneak across the borders, others are smuggled into the U.S. through shipping containers or in vehicles crossing the border. Some Cubans board homemade rafts and try to navigate the 90 miles of water to south Florida. Other migrants risk dehydration, bad weather, difficult terrain and wild animals by trying to cross the long border between the U.S. and Mexico."

Added: And it would be very expensive to use Schumer/Pelosi's "methods" which would never happen, anyway: "To build 700 miles of fencing would be extremely expensive -- estimates range from $4 to $8 billion for a physical fence, and a “virtual fence” that uses sophisticated surveillance technology could cost up to $37 billion! "

Then what are they living on? How do they pay for mortgage or rent? How do they buy food, pay for health care and education? Is it because corporations are illegally hiring them to work? Read this: https://www.gao.gov/products/HEHS-98-30

"GAO noted that: (1) in fiscal year (FY) 1995, about $1.1 billion in Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC) and Food Stamp benefits were provided to households with an illegal alien parent for the use of his or her citizen child...."

None of any of the arguments hold water... a real border wall will cost 3 to 5 times more than Trump states... now one evil beaner with a dune buggy & a few hundred pounds of C-4 could put us back at square one overnight... bingo there goes another 5+ billion...

Did you read the part that says "a “virtual fence” that uses sophisticated surveillance technology could cost up to $37 billion!"? That's what Schumer and Pelosi say they think will work...where are they going to get THAT money?

Our government already owns all the hi tech equipment we need to close off our southern border... too bad Trump was clueless before he sold us a wall... Trump's not man enough to admit any fault... just look at the farm bailout bill needed because of Trumps trade war for more wasted billions... how about our insane national debt in trumps booming economy... delusional...
