Yea, like Ginsburg has not done her entire life. Never had to wonder which way she’d vote on anything.

The big problem with her staying on the bench is what if she dies on the bench during a very important case #1 would it throw the current case out having to redo the whole thing #2 what if her deteriorating condition affect her decisions or her judgments could a call go out after death to question her decisions on more then one case but several it could tie up the court for years. So, in my opinion, yes she should retire before she puts her position into question and her long and hard-won reputation in jeopardy.

And here's what's wrong with your comment - Ginsburg made anti-Trump comments and then apologized for them. How is that for a supposedly "unbiased" Supreme Court Justice: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/ruth-bader-ginsburg-apologizes-for-anti-trump-comments/

She is not unbiased, she has stated many times that the Constitution is a living document and needs to be reinterpreted to suit the times and the people involved. The Constitution is changeable by amendment not what ever suites any one who chooses to reinterpret it to suit their politics. Trump would put in another originalist, that is someone who would not reinterpret the Constitution to suit their needs.

Yes as soon as she wants to and there is a Democrat in the White House. Hers is a lifetime appointment.

I don't think for a minute she will live through Trump's "third term". Actually her days are numbered and you know what that means one more conservative Justice and Bye-bye Roe. But just think we won't be able to look at you as just another supporter of unborn baby killings. How sad!

What would be wrong with a supreme court that didn't "favor" either side, but adhered to the law and constitution?

The only acceptable nominations need to have a solid history of centrist legal positions regardless of their party affiliation. The supreme court if done properly demands no bias, not an "our side" mentality.

The left would support any centrist judge, the right demands the full on hard right conservative that has a proven track record of being perfectly willing to bring their conservative political and religious beliefs and ideology to the court.

Another Trump hard right wing judge will trigger term limits, we would have a hopelessly biased court.

Why is it you guys always want to change the rules when your candidate loses her ass no less her mind? Barbara Boxer ~ oh, we got to get rid of the "electoral college" oh, my God they're getting too many conservative Justices in there. The Left will accept any change in the rules when IT"S NOT GOING THEIR WAY. Got it, durp!!!!!!! The only time you want to suddenly change the rules is when your back is up against the wall. Let's see how often you compromise in the next TWO years and we'll get back with ya. So far (border wall vs. shutdown) it's not working out too well. Wait until we get one more conservative Justice in there and flip Roe vs. Wade and we'll give you a call. When Obama was in there was no talk about a compromise. Morons on the Left were happy with Sotomeyer and Kagan, but now..... Conclusion: go to Haitis (Hell-o) with your compromise bullshit.
