No problem your assessment is right on. BUT probably why I have less tolerance for whiners. I had no family to help and took no government assistance. Yes it was hard - but obviously not impossible.

I once saved a million dollars, but that was quickly consumed by a wife of 8 years who divorced me and too her fair share. 10 years later I was $60,000 in debt. I had no contact with her for 30 years until last summer she came knocking on my door. Just to say "thank you." I have never remarried in 31 years. Don't think I ever will. I'm with you, Comment! Been divorced since my youngest was 10 mos old. Didn't have time, energy or desire to date when the kids were home, and now, 34 years later, have time and energy but no desire to be someone's mommy or wait on them. I'm all good being single and intend to stay that way.
