How a calendar change could alter the Democratic primaries:
The increase in early voting and reshuffling of the primary calendar in 2020 could transform the Democrats’ presidential nominating contest, potentially diminishing the power of small homogeneous early-voting states like Iowa and New Hampshire in favor of much larger and more diverse battlegrounds.
