I only read at Wikipedia when linked there and do wonder if you read much of your linked article. I found these words and am not enamored of them.
According to a Harvard study, "the expenses for documentation, travel, and waiting time [for obtaining voter identification cards] are significant—especially for minority group and low-income voters—typically ranging from about $75 to $175. When legal fees are added to these numbers, the costs range as high as $1,500."[49][50] So even if the cards themselves may be free, the costs associated with obtaining the card can be expensive.[49] The author of the study notes that the costs associated with obtaining the card far exceeds the $1.50 poll tax outlawed by the 24th amendment in 1964.[50]
Here in Kansas there are lots of places where people can get driver licenses, picture IDs. For those who don't drive they can get the ID free. Now only people of the far left, like you, would think that people never go to town. These words talk about how much the card would cost but we don't charge anything unless you are getting a driver license, that costs me $13.
Did you go far enough in your link to see the map about who requires people to show IDs. May I suggest that neither New York or California, the sources of so many Hillary votes requires that kind of thing.
The use of that Harvard study points left, to me. I say that the whole article reads pretty left.
