...about this "ignorant, wimpering" Mike Pence you've seen in your dreams..., years ago, before he came to Congress, Pence hosted a talk radio show, calling himself "Rush Limbaugh on Decaf."

Indiana's former Governor, Mike Pence was formerly the party's Conference chairman in the House of Representatives, and was in a prime position to serve as House Majority Whip at the beginning of his 5th term.

He took himself out of contention for the post shortly after the November elections that year, to successfully run for governor in Indiana.

He worked with the Indiana General Assembly to craft a balanced budget that maintains strong reserves for the State and continues to generate a surplus, and he also implemented steps to steer funds toward infrastructure improvements.

His fiscal reforms have helped Indiana maintain its AAA credit rating and by 2016, the state was enjoying a $2 billion budget surplus.

He was involved in running for his 2nd term as Indiana Governor when Donald J.Trump asked him to run for Vice President with him.

My only point is: You are misreading Mike Pence. He is more knowledgable, understated and adapt at maneuvering his way through Washington D.C. politics than is President Trump, because he did it for years, and if, God forbid, the occasion arose, he would be far less tolerant of insults to the office.

Mike Pence is not weak, he is not a wimp. Neither is he a naive child.

Former Indiana Governor Mike Pence is a perfect example of Christian meekness, which = "God's power, under control!"

Even Pence, the snivveling Trump toady, wouldn't do that or his Jewish colleagues would have his head.

You're absolutely right, as far as qualifications and integrity, vice president; Mike Pence is unrivalled in the political world.

If you think Nancy Pelosi is crazy now, wait until Ocasio-Cortez and the rest of the young Turks start pushing her to get tougher on Trump. It will get amusing when you see Ms. Nancy fighting to retain her leadership against the whipper snappers.

Thank you, debeda,

We need to stand up for the "really good men" in government, who dedicate their lives to actually serving we, the public.

That’s a good one. Probably true, too. Put her iq and Waters together to get imbecile.

Yes, although, I have backed President Donald J. Trump since he first "came down the escalator."

It's such a relief to have a calm, competent, and trustworthy Back-Up, standing in the wings.

That just proves that the younger generation of people never were taught about the socialist government downfalls thru out history. They know nothing about why most government's have deteriorated and destroyed themselves.

OTOH, they aren’t clawing and scraping to keep things the way they always have been, despite the fact this is no longer the 1950s.

Pence is a wimpy, enabling stooge for Trump’s outrages. Either that, or he’s staying quiet just waiting for Trump to hang himself. Either way, he’s nothing but a political zero.

Just want to clarify for the record that ocasio-cortez does not, I repeat, does not represent the views of the vast majority of Puerto Rican population on the island. First and foremost, she doesn't know what she is talking about; second, we are bonifide citizens of the U.S.A. proudly serving in the armed forces; third, we have very strict voting laws with voter I'd and strict vetting process avoiding fraud. I invite you to look up the history of PR.
Thank you for letting me comment on this person...have a nice day to all

I don't want you to think I am trying to be nasty with you but the filibuster has never bee used in the House and is no longer really used in the Senate.

Now let me say that I agree with your idea about that woman and her intelligence.

Totally agree. When candidate Donald Trump first started with a candid view of the state of the State, I thought well, why not, after all it wasn't just the minorities, who had nothing to lose. I feel truly blessed and given a national reprieve, to have a New York wreaking ball as the President is... God willing, We the People will have Mike Pence to follow The President.
