As much as I hate to admit it, you may have a very good point. I think the President had a lot of resistance from his own party on healthcare in the early days, which have come back to bite them in the butt. Maybe, just maybe, they might learn from that mistake and get on board with the President next time around. Funny though, in the beginning they thought they were saving their jobs, but, it ended up costing them their jobs in the long run. Live and learn, I hope.

In order for President Trump to govern with a split congress, the democrats are also going to have to be willing to compromise. I believe we will see the President will be willing to compromise, however, I think the democrats main objective will be to make the President look as bad as they possibly can. There will be more calls for investigations than there will be calls for actual legislation, so, I don’t expect to see much but a bunch of name calling for the next two years.

How can the Democrats make Trump look any worse than he does on a daily basis? We will see what Trump does and what the Democrats do. It can't be any worse than the Republicans did the last 6 years of Obama's tenure, can it...
