If someone accused you of being a pedophile, Kevyn, what would you ask?

The story about Kavanaughs mother deciding a case involving Fords parents is a fabrication, it never happened. Further to consider a drunken attempted rape “a high school romp” is making a mindless excuse for a serious felony. Kavanaugh was a squirming weasel during the hearings evading every question about his opinions he could, his credentials are far from impeccable. He is a pro torture anti woman right wing ideologue.

All fron CNN and MSNBC uh?

And Kavanaugh’s credentials are without question, outstanding.

And allegations being made from a high school or college romp? Give me a break.

Whenever the dems are losing you can Pretty well guarantee some sort of sex scandals going to come up trying to knock the opponent out.. Truly pathetic.

What is more the case is the retaliatory action being taken over a case that Mr. Kavanaughs mother presided over involving Foreclosure of a property by her family members.. Revenge is not necessarily true! Its revenge for crying out loud. Good grief!!

Where is that side of your story??

My question is what is a 14 year old girl doing at a beer party with ONLY 1 GIRL AND FOUR 17 YEAR OLD YOUNG MEN.

Since all four testified under oath, no sex took place, she apparently was disappointed and now 36 years later suddenly remembered.

Check her bank account and see how much money she deposited lately. You may find the answer that "refreshed" her memory.

Yes: I believe the accuser should be vetted and Kavanaughs also.

What disturbs me on the Kavanaugh hearings is non answers or refuse to answer questions. What really bother me the most was, Kavanaughs former White House Advisor was hired to review White House documents and decided what was released to congress. Over 100,000 documents that William Burck classified as Executive privilege. That’s a six year gap in Kavanaughs life in the White House. Those documents are the responsibility of the National Archives to review and what could be released but the Chairman refused to give the National archives a week to review and submit to the committee for review. So the Republican chairman dumped 44,000 documents on the democrats at close of business the night before the hearing started.

This is not transparency on a man that is about to be appointed to the SCOTUS.

So now you are concerned about 6 years missing from his life?

Eight years ago we were concerned about 30 hidden years of Obama's life that were conveniently sealed.

Give me a break.....

Well how about an 6 year gap of documents that Kavanaughs was invovled with the Bush White House. Have you seen the documents that the democrats received. They released 87,000 pages of documents 40,000 appeared to be requests for supplies, and an additional 47,000 pages of emails between the heritage foundations and from Gini Thomas the Wife Of Supreme Court Justice Clearence Thomas on fund raiser. There were no documents pertaining to Kavanaugh.

What about the 20 odd years of Obama that were unaccounted for then conveniently sealed for 50 years?

Sarge, I, too, left this forum for awhile because I found myself becoming angry and responding angrily at what we allowed Progressives do to our nation. I certainly did not spend a carreer in the military to allow them to fundamentally change America in the perverse way they have. Having briefly returned to OPP, I find that, once again, I'm quickly losing any tolerance for "them" and intend to soon seek greener pasture. Someone will know where those more reasonable commentators abide.

Elie Weisel, holocaust survivor and Nobel Peace Prize winner, well summed up my concern when he wrote: "A man comes to Sodom hoping to save the city. He pickets. What else can he do? He goes from street to street, from marketplace to marketplace, shouting,'Men and women, repent. What you are doing is wrong. It will kill you, it will destroy you.' They laugh, but he goes on shouting, until one day a child stops him. 'Poor stranger, don't you see it is useless?' 'Yes,' the just man replies. 'Then why do you go on?' 'In the beginning' he says, 'I was convinced that I would change them. Now I go on shouting because I don't want them to change me.'"

God save us from resorting to extreme violence again.

I have seen more than my share of extreme violence, blood and guts to last ten lifetimes.

But I will fight to my last breath to protect what my forefathers brought forth on this great nation, an left for me to protect and enjoy ,damn if i will let it be taken from me by one slimmest creatures known as Socialist or Muslims.

There are over 50 ex-military living around here that feel he same way and a few hundred around it the county that are of the same mind set.

You had no problem with Obama's use of Executive Privilege to shield Eric Holder in Fast and Furious.
Are Liberals only concerned that a Conservative might use the same thing? It reminds me of your whining about gerrymandering. Historically it has been used by Democrats far more than Republicans, yet you had no problem with it until Republicans controlled enough legislatures so they could use the practice also.

n Tuesday’s opening session of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings, Democratic senators expressed concern about the nominee’s views of presidential power. Chris Coons put it bluntly when he said President Donald Trump had nominated Kavanaugh with “an eye towards protecting himself.” Mazie Hirono piled on, arguing that Trump’s choice is not surprising given that the president is “committed to self-preservation every minute, every hour, every day.”

These senators are right to be concerned. Kavanaugh seems to hold dangerous views about executive power, views that could undermine special counsel Robert Mueller’s inquiry, ultimately shielding Trump from a criminal investigation. Indeed, Kavanaugh’s writing suggests that, as a justice, he might reject important Supreme Court case law and support the president’s right to refuse to turn over evidence to Mueller’s team. He might also hold that a president can refuse to answer questions in a criminal investigation. In other words, if Kavanaugh is appointed, Trump could have newly found constitutional privileges to undermine Mueller’s investigation.

Let's examine what you have done here: you've convicted Kavanaugh without proof and you've vindicated Ford without a hearing. You call Kavanaugh a squirming weasel who advocates torture and predatory towards the rights of women to legally murder their unborn children. (We do not know how he would rule on abortion but you evidently do.) Yet virtually everyone who knows Kavanaugh calls him a good and honorable man. Ford, to you, is the caricature of every perfect woman yet some who know her have a different opinion. Kevin, people who believe and condemn without proof like you do are a greater threat to America than every foreign enemy we have fought. The stuff that comes out of your mind that you put to pen is dripping with abnormal and dangerous hate. Many of us don't want to engage with you in dialogue because it makes us feel dirty. There seems to be a darkness around you. Yet this is only my own opinion and observation.

What about the 68 women who signed a letter 'exposing' his GENTLEMANLY demeanor ( including 2 who dated him) at that same time as the alleged incident? For such a traumatic event as Ford claims happened, why is it that she can't remember the date, the time, or even where it was, if fact she didn't remember it until 2012 when at a marriage counselor when she recalled that 4 unknown boys attacked her?Her story is fishier that Long John Silvers and Captain Dee's put together. I'm not sure but I also hear she is somewhat of a nut. The dem's are just trying to use any tactic they can find to prevent Kavanaugh's conformation.

Enough money will cause a lot of people to remember things that didn't happen if they are paid enough.

For enough millions in my bank account I could probly remember having lunch with six aliens on the other side of the moon. If I was told what we had for lunch

They should be entitled to full transparency of the actions and behavior of someone who will be a federal supreme court justice. Why wouldn't you want that also? Why should, quote: "they have a restrictive reading of the law result in one political party having complete control over what records"?

The Senate should be able to see before deciding whether a nominee should receive a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court of the United States.
