Sorry but you are very misinformed about Atheism.
Being a atheist does not mean you don't know good from bad or right from wrong.
Being a atheist does not mean you live without a moral outlook.
What I do is live everyday being the best father and husband that I can be, I now have a wife of 18years that I have never even thought about being unfathfull to. I have two teenage kids who have never touched drugs/alcohol and both started college at 14 years old.
What I do is give to charity's every year both secular and non-secular. Volunteer my time reading at a children's hospital and in soup kitchens twice a month.

What I don't do is judge people based on there believes.
So if anyone has any problems with me because I choose not to believe in God, Jesus or Allah then screw'em
Sorry but you are very misinformed about Atheism. ... (show quote)

I never said you know or don’t know anything. I am saying an atheist must own up to the fact that if all is by chance that there is no good and bad and no right and wrong. All is completely and totally relative.

Look, you sound like a fine person and it IS morally right do do what you have said you do, love your wife, raise your kids right, etc, what I’m saying is that as an atheist, you can’t claim it as right or wrong. As Solomon said, all of life is folly apart from God. Really, if there is no God, then all existence really doesn’t matter. There really is no point to anything.

I am depressing myself thinking about it. Lol

Good point, why should we let bible thumpers tell us what is right or wrong?

See, that’s the point!!!! If there is no God then you shouldn’t, and bible thumpers shouldn’t let you tell them what is right and wrong and nobody can tell anybody what is right and wrong cause in the blink of an eye it can change. Look at Muslim nations and the way they treat women......... is it right? Hillary would have been killed for talking in public and doing the things she does.......... would that have been right? You would say no I would hope, but you can’t because there is no absolute right as an atheist. Nothing is wrong or right.

He thinks that God made the earth, created mankind with everything else and then wandered of into space. And is not in the business of watching his creation. Seems odd..I wonder how many people are Deists?

My thought is, its a childish rebellion against the Creator...and these unknowing people of which there isn't a known number of them...are spiritual sluggards.

Arguing that point using a Muslim country is just a bad idea, of you would have used a Christian, Jewish, or Buddhist country and it would have come across much better.
Using some Muslim countrys where women have no rights is almost universally a country where extremists are in power, and guess what if there is no religion there is no religious extremists.
I truly believe if we woke up tomorrow in a all atheist world most, not all but most wars would end.

I thought it interesting that the Wikipedia reference was headed with:
"This article does not cite any sources. Please help improve this article by adding citations to reliable sources. Unsourced material may be challenged and removed."

And can you tell me how many people actually read that "disclaimer" before reading on? And the operative words is "Unsourced material MAY be challenged and removed." When I was in school in my late-40s about 15 years ago, we weren't allowed to use Wikipedia as a source. Perhaps things have changed but considering how our institutions of "higher learning" have severely regressed since then I highly doubt it.

I faintly recall, some teachers, for some papers, would not allow references to encyclopedias as support for ideas presented in a paper. I heard recently, that Wikipedia is an acceptable reference, when used where another encyclopedia reference would be acceptable. I think this may be, because the screening process is (becoming?) very careful.

Operative and vague words suggesting innuendo...I faintly recall...I heard. What I said I ACTUALLY experienced!

I truly believe that you are incorrect in that belief. You. Can argue about anything you want, it still remains that from an atheist point of view, there is no right or wrong except what you make up, but it is still pointless as you are just a blob of matter that happened to form into what we call human. That’s fine that you want to be an atheist, I just want you to own what you believe I. It’s entirety........ that life is completely pointless............ in a hundred years you will be a pile of bones in the ground at best!!!!!! Nothing we do matters. That’s all I am saying.

Oh how arrogant we are. Why do you think only your flavor of religion knows right from wrong?
