Blame means nothing, only the facts, part of the sheer ignorance comes from a lack of understanding of cause and effect that cannot be blamed on the other party. Here's how simple it is.

Bush took over an economy that had a budget surplus, more coming in than was being spent. Rather than use that surplus to pay down the debt, or even invest in much needed infrastructure that would have made an even better economy by putting people to work and further increasing tax revenues because there are more people making incomes (that's how it works folks), Bush made his infamous Bush tax cuts. Pure common sense and a basic grasp of math would tell anyone that if you reduce tax revenues that is going to alter the budget by exactly the amount the revenues are reduced.

So it's extremely clear that Bush took a budget surplus, and ran up a spending spree to where the budget deficit was $1.3 Trillion. It's worth noting in this factual narrative that Clinton's "killer" taxes created an economy that added over 20 million jobs, meanwhile Bush along with his budget busting tax cuts and spending lost over 20 million jobs. Now intelligent people could easily make a connection here. Higher taxes didn't hurt jobs and the economy, lower taxes did not seem to help create jobs, both positions proved through two 8 year administrations that perfectly make the points.

Back to Obama and the economy he inherited, stock market in the crapper, unemployment at over 11%, 800,000 more jobs lost in January, foreclosures at a ridiculous level (25% if I recall correctly). Yes it's fair to say that the economy and the shape it was in was Bush's fault, what else can a thinking person think?

The other thing that was definitely Obama's fault was the economy Trump inherited, 5% unemployment, record stock prices being regularly posted, home values and sales extremely strong, over 80 straight months of jobs growth, which was a record for decades. So yeah, we'll take responsibility for an economy Trump took over that was Obama's "fault".

Trump inherited a great economy, an economy is like a ship's direction, hard to turn, a good economy will keep on going good until you start screwing with things, and the effects will take time to cause the direction to change.

Trump has thrown monkey wrench after monkey wrench into this economy, starting with tax cuts that can do only one thing, add the amount of the cut to the deficit. Anyone who believes tax cuts have done anything for this economy are living in a delusional world. The tiny increases working class people will see will be eaten up by higher gasoline prices, which will make the prices of everything else go up.

Trump will be adding subsidies for farmers, ranchers, and processors to the deficit as well. The GOP is running record pork spending riders into the budget as well, and when dems object they will be blamed for shutting down government When the debt ceiling needs to be raised because it's increasing exponentially with budget deficits, and they try to deny republicans their frivolous projects.
Obama left Trump record stock levels and they were... (show quote)

" Obama left Trump record stock levels and they were increasing and going to new highs on a regular basis. "

If that happened under a Republican you would be having a meltdown. Why, why, why is it that a rising stock market is good under a Democrat, while under a Republican President it just Wall Street getting richer ? HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM ?

No wait it gets even worser !!!! All while the Stock Market was going up under Obama, full time jobs with benefits were going away. More and more and more workers were having to work part time jobs. No wait it is even WORSER than that ! ! ! Not only did more and more poor people have to take part time jobs, BUT because of OBAMA KARE the hours the poor worked got cut because of the stupid Obamacare rules. Rather than pay part timers health care, the companies just cut their FREAKING HOURS . Gee thanks a whole freaking bunch Obama.

" Bush took over an economy that had a budget surplus, more coming in than was being spent. Rather than use that surplus to pay down the debt, or even invest in much needed infrastructure that would have made an even better economy by putting people to work and further increasing tax revenues because there are more people making incomes (that's how it works folks), Bush made his infamous Bush tax cuts. Wow sounds pretty freaking bad for my BOY George W. Bush. Except, my friend, you left out one or many important facts. First the Dot Com bubble was bursting. That threw the economy into a tail spin as Bush came on board. Second was this event, maybe you heard about it on the Tele, 911. Those two things meant that the economy was not in the fantabulous condition you seem to think it was. Without the Bush tax cuts things would have crashed and burned in 2002 instead of 2007. And lets us now discuss the meltdown of 2007-09.

Blame tax cuts all you want. It was the juicing of the real estate market by Fannie and Freddie and their Democratic Party buddies in Congress that caused that. Any time you want to discuss that big ugly can of Democratic Worms I am ready and willing.

I thought perhaps you knew of some left wing death squad out side of my secret bunker that was about to silence me. I am a serious threat to the collective. I just refuse to think correct thoughts. Just a delinquent from the reeducation camps. Now you have none of those problems.

How does it feel to have your own logic used agin you ? Oh wait, I know what you will say. " It feels SILLY.
I blame Obama. Obama blamed Bush for his deficits ... (show quote)

No son,

You people are not using any logic..

when we point out that most of President Obama spending was caused by the events when Bush was in office, we can provide that information..

Plan D, two wars, the great recession for quick points.. and the tax cuts on top of that..

the orange fool took over a repaired economy, a world that finally recovered.

but his first accomplishment is a huge unneeded tax gift to the rich and corporations..

The tariff joke followed that..

this huge, destructive deficit and trade war is all on the orange fool. He is the dumbest and most criminal thing to ever walk the white house..

I see the situation 180 degrees the other way, but you are way above your fellow liberals because you actually respond to individual points of debate and write clearly. I think I will leave it there with you for now. I have other fish to fry.

From the time Obama was sworn in he became responsible for what ever was happening at the time. You are saying that he was not up to that responsibility. Does that mean he was our first Affirmative Action President and should be graded on a curve ? I like to refer back to that great political thinker Super Chicken. In reference to those who whine about the difficulties of the jobs that they actively sought he famously said, " You knew the job was dangerous when you took it. "

Good luck. I am between jobs at the present time and I really thought I would take more time to go fishing, things keep popping up. I actually forced myself to take the canoe out last week and was happy just being out. I had the line in the water and had no bites, which kind of suited my mood. Towards the end I reeled in the line to check my worm and low and behold I had a sunny so small I had not felt him. Well even though he went back, he still counts.

As the saying goes, " a bad day fishing beats a good day at work. "
