Senator Chris Murphy, one of the biggest BSers in Congress, tried to show that Vice President Mike Pence is a giant hypocrite by comparing him to Colin Kaepernick. More specifically he tried and failed to make this point by comparing Pence’s refusal to stand for North Korea with Kaepernick’s disrespect of our country by taking a knee during the National Anthem.

Mike Pence was representing the US at the Olympic opening ceremony on Friday. When the combined North and South Korean team walked into the stadium both Pence and the Japanese Prime Minister refused to stand or applaud. Because American liberals love North Korea’s brutal dictator Kim Jong Un, there was considerable outrage on the left.

Here’s what Murphy had to say on the subject:

Do you get what this Connecticut democrat is trying to say here?
