It is my goal, as a human being, to make everyone’s life a little better for the time they knew me or, as in the case of the internet interacted, with me. I think all people should have that goal but those like PeterS, tdsrnest, Raylon Wolfe, airforce one, moldyoldy, etc. fail miserably at it.

Their contempt for those who disagree with them oozes from every posting they make. It’s pointless to engage them in exchanges because they know they are so much better than everyone else and that probably applies to each other. Hitler, Stalin & Mao were brutal with their supporters.

They believe that the earnings of the successful, other than themselves, are ill gotten and that they are entitled to confiscate them and apply them however they deem appropriate. They believe that all fetuses should be subject to slaughter at any moment a mother desires. They never stop to think what it would have been like had their mothers done the same.

I have found, over my lifetime, that they all have chips on their shoulders. They are, when all is considered, not nice people.

No, they are not nice people. Their minds are filled with sick biases and hateful thoughts that normal, sane, rational people are completely unable to even begin to understand. They would see you systematically deprived of the fruits of your labors at gunpoint under threat of (ultimately) death to further a sick and perverted political agenda that they cannot explain because they never really understood it. For the crime of speaking out against this depravity, they would see your tongue publicly cut out of your head and nailed to a telephone pole as a warning to others who might otherwise agree with your moral stance.

They have no grasp of logic or rationality, and their only basis for thought is to further the socialism they have been indoctrinated into believing with the fervor of a religious dogma. Warning: Do not tell them that you use the word of God as your moral basis in making difficult decisions, you will be pilloried beyond endurance. When your heroes are Karl Marx, Mao Zedong and Joseph Stalin, you cannot afford the contradiction of Christian morality.

After over 12 months attempting to communicate with each of them in some meaningful way, I am saddened to report that they are a lost cause. There is no hope of snatching them back from the brink of the evil that is socialism and/or communism. They have already made the jump into oblivion, I'm afraid.

The two most hateful sentences which a mother can say to her child are "I hate the day you were born!" and "I wish you'd never been born!". Now, imagine hearing that for the next 18 years and what do you suppose that will do to that child's mindset? Multiply it by countless millions of children growing up with those hateful words ringing in their ears and that's where the majority of your pro-choicers come from. They grow up to remember how they were treated and they can't help thinking, "Maybe abortion's okay after all. Maybe it would've been better if my mother had me aborted. It would've been a lot kinder than what she did or said to me." and I should know because I was one of them. If you can muster the compassion to do it, talk to a pro-choicer and listen to that person, I mean REALLY listen! Chances are that you'll find a very frightened, badly abused, heart-broken child inside that person. Reach out to that child, LOVE that child, let that child know that you're glad he or she wasn't aborted and show that child that there's a better way. If you can't do that, could you at least have the decency to pray, ask your Higher Power or whatever works for you to send out those who can? Since joining OPP, something very unique has been happening to me. Where others see enemies, I see lost souls. Where others see insults, I see hurting hearts and maybe that's how it's meant to be. I'm 69 years old now, disabled and in so much pain that most days I can barely get out of bed to make a cup of instant coffee. I live in what's called a low-income residential hotel, but to give you an idea of how small the rooms are, I call them overpriced closets. Now that all of the libraries are shut down, I have no access to computers. My only way to get on the internet is via an obsolete, second-hand Android which I aquired through the Obamaphone program, yet in my tiny, little room and with this humble, little Android, I can touch the world with the Love of Christ, but I can't do it alone. I need lots of prayers and the Holy Spirit's guidance.

I am coming here from a pool and billiard forum where we used to have a non pool related forum and those kinds of people attacked everyone that didn't subscribe to their beliefs. It got so bad the owner/moderator shut the section down for politics (period).

I am spiritual but not religious. I do believe that we are here on Earth to learn and make some progress along a spiritual journey. You go man, go and leave good and positive things where ever you can. There is nothing that can be done to destroy the positive energy that you leave behind but there is plenty that can be done to undo negative energy. I'm guilty of trying to show people that there is a better way than negativity and sometimes maybe I stray into the negativity myself but I try not to. So why are we all here? I just posted this into the religious forum. Its longer than some of its kind but its one of the best I've ever seen. The Positive is the way.

Thank you Big Dolly for posting this. You are in my prayers.
IMO; Your kind heart will be rewarded on the other side. God takes notes.

California Governor Gavin Noisome has ordered a statewide mandatory blindfolding policy to help slow the spread of coronavirus. Noisome’s Executive Odor 666-666 requires all citizens to wear blindfolds as well as masks whenever they leave their homes, and revokes all health and religious exemptions from masking and blindfolding.

“Studies show that when you blink, your eyelashes scatter tiny droplets of moisture into the atmosphere, potentially contributing to the spread of COVID-19,” Noisome explained at this morning’s press conference. “The best way to stop these moisture droplets is at the source, by wearing a cloth blindfold over your eyes. If all of us join together and blindfold ourselves, we can get through this thing together without ever seeing what’s really going on and without having to look at each other’s fear-stricken faces.”

Noisome said that mandatory blindfolding, like mandatory masking, not only slows the spread of COVID, but also offers economic benefits. “Cottage industries are already springing up, as enterprising Californians turn ordinary pieces of cloth into blindfolds and sell them on the internet,” the governor enthused. “And while it’s true that the Amazon delivery drivers will take longer than usual to deliver the blindfolds to your doorstep, since those drivers will themselves be blindfolded, the bright side is that Amazon will have to hire more drivers, which is good for the economy. Since paying all those blindfolded drivers will cost Amazon a pretty penny, we expect that Jeff Bezos will put billions of dollars into accelerating the development of self-driving vehicles, which will ultimately solve the whole COVID problem by making humans obsolete.”
Responding to civil libertarians’ concerns about heavy-handed enforcement of the masks-and-blindfolds policy, Noisome said police won’t be arresting or shooting scofflaws, at least not in large numbers, because the police themselves will be blindfolded. “We expect police shootings to go way down,” he explained. “And since the police won’t be able to see the skin color of the people they shoot at, nor aim with any precision, the disproportionate killings of black people will finally end, fulfilling the demands of protestors and turning the page on a sorry episode in our history.”

Noisome said mandatory blindfolding would also obviate the need to remove statues of politically-incorrect historical figures. “If nobody can see the statues, why bother to smash or remove them?” he asked rhetorically. “It’s actually cheaper in the long run to blindfold the population instead of having to pay for statue removal.”

The governor added that if mandatory masks and blindfolds don’t stop the spread of COVID, he would consider issuing another executive order requiring people to wear earplugs to stop the virus from riding into the body on soundwaves. He added in light of scientific studies showing that COVID can be spread by flatulence, the state might also have to require people to “put a cork in it.”

As usual, conservatives believe their version of they think is right, goes above what everyone else believes in.
