He is a simpleton who is being used by his liberal leftist progressive girlfriend to do the lefts work of destroying the NFL. He is brainwashed and doesn't even know it. She has him wrapped around her little finger and he does her bidding. The left hates the NFL because it portrays everything that they are not. Like the testosterone filled MEN battling it out on the gridiron that the majority, if not all, of them would refuse to adventure out on unless it was in a mascot uniform. Rush has made comments in the past on how he feels that the left wants to destroy the NFL and I can see it happening before my eyes with Goodell in leadership.

I think you are incorrect about Kaepernick being anti police.
If you are referring to his "pig" socks from 2016, here's what he had to say about them and his feelings about the police.

Paul honestly tell me why he deserves all these awards and people who are there to protect us every day dont even get mentioned??? What have he done for society for us to give him all these awards other then protest our national anthem??? If he want us to see that he deserves all these awards and nominations, why not donate his millions of dollars to charities,or give money to the victims of hurricanes??? Anyone can protest its easy thing to do.

What has happened since Colin took advice from a VietNam vet and decided to knell for the National Anthem over perceived racist disparity in Police profiling, fatal shootings, and arrests? He is inundated with hate mail and death threats daily. His career is in shambles. He may never play football again, though he is a fine quarterback. That took courage to "knell" by his convictions even in a so-called free society that for some odd and troubling reason disparages and attacks the legal right of peaceful protest. Such expression of conviction, despite all adversary, is something to cheer! Try that in Russia or China or North Korea, oh my.

Jesus did not shy away from upsetting the traditional applecart, or a few table, to shame "respectable society" and its norms. Colin's knee is not unlike, in a way, from Jesus gathering food or healing on the Sabbath. This was a total outrage to the then "pillars of society." Enough to bring him death. Jesus was looking to get their full attention with his message, no matter what egos were bumped or sacred mores bruised. His action is not, as many veterans have already stated, an attack on the honor of our military but a homage to our Frist Amendment, which they are willing to die to protect.

PR - I think he deserves an award because he's put his career on the line in order to start a conversation about the inappropriate use of force by some police, especially in communities of color.
Saying he doesn't deserve it because police aren't mentioned at the same time seems petty to me.
Not to mention that police do get appropriately lauded all the time when they go above and beyond in their duties. It happens all the time.

As to his money, it's been well-documented (and shared here on OPP) that Kaepernick has nearly completed his pledge of giving away $1 million of his own money to charity.
