Shocking. How could you have almost forgotten all your fans on the forum

Especially the OPP axis of evil: AuntiE, Archie Bunker and myself...

Why, I wonder is there a call to announce to the world ones personal , behaviours?
Shouldn't they be just that, personal?
No justification for who or what I am is required. I is who I is.
If you want to know me more intimately, get to know me better. I see no sense in shouting anything about myself from the rooftops.

Or, as Popeye said..."I yam what's I yam, and that's all what's I am."

Best out-house poetry since "Here I sit Broken Hearted"!

He is otherwise known as BadBobby, OPP's oldest Squid/Swabbie/Deckape/WaterLily.

Didn't you know I am also a vampire, and cast no shadow?
(At least there are some who think that way about me )

In any case, unlike Punxsutawney Phil, once out, shadow or not, there is no going back in!

Well Solarkin, it's not a behavior any more than being straight is constrained to being a behavior for you (I am making an assumption here).
It's an integral part of my identity.

In any case, at my age I don't really need anyone to know anything.
But unfortunately there are still youth out there who are taught to hate who they are and made to feel ashamed for who they love.
It's mostly for them that I am out. They need to know that one can be out and accepted. If, by being out, I have gotten one person to think a little more positively about LGBTQ folks, then it's worth it.

Well said, Paul.

"Love who you are, embrace who you are. Love yourself. When you love yourself, people can kind of pick up on that: they can see confidence, they can see self-esteem, and naturally, people gravitate towards you. [quote/Lilly Singh]

"To me, self-esteem is not self-love. It is self-acknowledgment, as in recognizing and accepting who you are. [quote/Amity Gaige]

OK I will come out. I am a monogamous heterosexual married Christian, a dying breed, unfortunately.

You are a good and decent man, NPP, regardless of how you are categorized by yourself or others. I certainly hope to one day meet both you and SWMBO in my travels.

So all those days I came out of the bedroom and bathroom unannounced, I was doing it illegally? Geez, can you imagine being stuck somewhere for a whole year, waiting for the day you can come out?
