I must go online more often and listen to Celtic Woman. I had forgotten how good they sound and I love the liveliness of the violin/fiddle player when she plays and dances. Thanks for reminding me. PBS comes and goes, mostly goes away. I used to watch all their specials.

Again AuntiE an excellent selection. After listening to all of your posts you have brought back the music from my youth and I thank you for that. I must go on the internet more and listen to the beautiful music there. I get so fed up with this new age meaningless music that they play in churches today. I guess maybe I am getting to old because these songs stir my soul and bring tears to my eyes not this new age stuff.

Isn't it a shame, that this kind of performance is not as popular as the Satanic trash beating on our ears from commercial radio. It would certainly induce the population to more sensible tranquility than we presently have to endure. I for one, would gladly turn my heart and soul to the finer music
performances we seldom hear and see lately.

PBS, when I "can" get it has the most awesome stuff. Celtic Woman performances used to be featured quite often. My father used to take me see the Black Watch perform. I'm a lover of bagpipes also. One of my former neighbors when I lived in the burbs used to practice her bagpipe playing at twilight. Amazing Grace was truly amazing indeed. I can close my eyes and still hear her play.
