It was not merely the leftwing media that announced this, it also turned up on Fox News.

After quickly scanning the Fox report I noticed at the very bottom of the piece a line that says:

" The Associated Press contributed to this report."

AP has a rather long history of viewing almost everything...no, on second thought forget the word "almost"... from a l*****t point of view.

In addition, wh**ever combination of reporter / editor allowed this nonsense to be published should find out how to survive on food stamps if for nothing else than saying:

" A loaded 12-gauge shotgun was found in the glove compartment of the Honda Civic Lanza drove to the school with two magazines containing 70 rounds of Winchester 12-gauge shotgun rounds."

Really? Must be one helluva glove compartment. Especially in a Honda. And exactly what type of shotgun uses a 35 round magazine?

Sensationalistic reporting, but veracity? Seems to be in short supply.

So, why did Fox put this s**t on their website? Shouldn't they be filtering the stuff they get from the mainstream wires?

Of course the NRA would say police records are false. They should check out their potential members before passing out their certificates, OOPS!! NRA would have to deny knowing Adam Lanza. Criminals like him would be denied the right to own a gun with a background check, since Wayne LaPierre says background checks would prevent law abiding citizens purchasing guns.

Since Conservatives, like Wayne LaPierre, have so much conservative propaganda in the heads they do not have room for a fact to turn over, American taxpayers will continue to pay $100 billion dollars for gun violence. The more gun violence the higher the taxes will go.

You have just made a sweeping accusation with questionable data. It remains to be seen if the AP report is accurate.

I can't speak to whether the police are correct or the NRA is correct, however, one has to ask just how the police inferred or assumed that Lanza himself, or a member of his family, such as him mother, was a member of the NRA. Did they find NRA literature? Did they find an NRA membership card? Or were there bumper stickers on family vehicles that espoused the 2nd Amendment?

If Lanza's mother actually was an NRA member, how does this t***slate to Lanza being a member? Are we going to assign the sins of a parent to all children now?

I personally find none of the reports on any aspect of the Newtown shooting particularly factual, with any credible evidence to support not merely the story being told itself, but the various interpretations of the story that are being touted as fact.

Haven't we had enough propaganda from all sides to last us several lifetimes?
