You ever wonder why Jesus spoke in parables? During Jesus ministry, his teachings began to receive a lot of mockery and ridicule from unbelievers. He took his light away from those who loved darkness and started in speaking in parables. This drew out those seeking his T***h, who would continue asking the Lord for his meaning until he explained it to them. This protected the T***h within the parables from the mockers and scoffers, yet, left something that even they could come to understand at later times.

A couple of times Jesus used the Pearl within his parables. (example Matthew 13:45-46)
So let's examine the nature of a pearl. What even makes a pearl?? It is an oyster or mollusk that have very smooth and sensitive tissues inside of it. Should a grain of sand or dirt get inside the oyster and begin to penetrate its soft tissues, that area of tissue around the intruding object will become diseased and start to die. This could destroy the whole oyster. The diseased section secretes a substance that completely engulfs the foreign body, hardens, and saves the oyster. When the oyster is harvested and opened, a magnificent and beautiful Pearl is found. Pearls are considered gems of great value.
With this concept applied to Jesus parables, Jesus is to us as a pearl is to the oyster. Evil and sin enter our minds and hearts as we live in this world. So long as we live in this world there is no getting away from it or the stains it leaves in our lives. Jesus own Blood that He Shed on Calvary, due to his wounds as he was crucified, is the act and symbol fo the spiritual substance now that engulfs the intrusion of sin within our soul. He forgives and pardons us as we strive to continue in our faith, and towards eternal life.

Twice in America's short history now has the name Pearl been presented to us in a profound way. The first was America's call to Arms at "Pearl Harbor" where we entered WWII, and helped our brother nations bring down Hitler and inadvertingly stay the Holocaust.
The second was in a much quieter call, but just as profound in it's need. America's first victim of gross, savage viscious cruelty, "Daniel Pearl." Beheaded by Islamic swine on video tape. This was a quiet call to Arms to what America fights now: The War on Faith.
How we doing on that fellow Christians?

So if you've ever wondered why Jesus Christ referred to the Gates into Heaven as the "Pearl Gates", this is why. Only his faithful and Saved souls will pass through them.
(Revelation 21:21).
Included in our Lords words, is our great and brave military, the scriptural and prophetic "Unicorn," as they have lain down their lives for their brother.

I will explain the "Unicorn" soon.

I am unsure about your conclusion. I was taught that Jesus came for all humans, not just a selected few. And I was taught that he came especially for the nonbelievers, what purpose would it serve for him to teach only to those that believed? Was his mission not to shine light for those who were lost? Seems to me that he spoke in terms that people could relate to and that is why he spoke in parables. I am sure if he tried to explain quantum mechanics to fishermen, they might not have been able to understand, but if he spoke about the cycles of life, where to find fish then the understanding would be clear. Do you honestly believe that churches, religion, God, or the Bible is intended for those that are saved? No, they were built, the word written, and Jesus came to save sinners.

I just can not wait for your explanation of the unicorn.....taking about mixing pagan beliefs with Christianity, that should be interesting.

IS A PEARL, A GRAIN OF SAND, CONTROLLED BY NEW ATTENTION?
IT BECOMES A THING GRAND, WE USE TO SHOW OUR AFFECTION.
IN OUR LIVES SOME SMALL GRAIN, KEEPS OUR ANGER BURNING.
BUT WE WITH WILL CONSTRAIN, AND OVERCOME THE YEARNING.

THE OYSTER GIVES US A LESSON, THINGS TO DO THAT DISTURB US.
WE NEED TO HAVE A SESSION, WHEN THEY WILL NOT PERTURB US.
WHEN TO THINGS WE ARE REACTIVE, TURNED AND UNDERSTOOD.
THEY CAN BE MADE ATTRACTIVE, AND FROM THEM COME GOOD.

ALL THESE THINGS THAT PROD, AND FORCE SOME CONTENTION
CAN BE FROM A SENSE OF GOD, LOOKING FOR OUR ATTENTION.
WE SHOULD THEN HUMBLY INQUIRE, JUST WHAT IS OUR DUTY.
AND STOKE OUR ANGER FIRE, AND FROM THIS BUILD BEAUTY.

FROM GRAIN OF SAND TO PRIZE, IS DONE BY SMALL ATTENTION.
IT IS HOW WE REALIZE, THE VALUE OF EVERY NEW CONTENTION.
WHEN WE CAN SEE OUR PATH, STREWN WITH TOIL AND TROUBLE.
COMES BY HOLDING WRATH, AND IT IS WE CREATE THE STUBBLE.

LIKE THE OYSTER IN IT'S PAIN, WILL TURN AND END THE HURT.
BUT THE STRANGE DOES REMAIN, AND KEEPS THE HOST ALERT.
THEN FROM ANOTHER WORLD, SALVATION MAY COME AT LAST.
NEW COMFORT IS UNFURLED, AND THE WORST AGONY IS PAST.

WE HAVE DONE OUR DUTY, IF THE THING THAT WE ENDURED.
BECOMES A THING OF BEAUTY, FOR SOMEONE IN DISCORD
IF WE HAVE HANDLED RIGHT, THE THING THAT BROUGHT WOE.
THERE SHOULD BE DELIGHT, IN THE BEAUTY WE NOW SHOW

A THING THAT WAS TO US A TRIAL, HAS BECOME A NEW DISPLAY.
IT NOW HAS BROUGHT A SMILE, IN SOMEONE'S DARKENED DAY.
WHEN WE ENDURED THE TEST, WE DID NOT KNOW THE REASON.
BUT OUR EFFORTS WERE BLEST, FOR UNKNOWN FUTURE SEASON.

Thank you. You know rumi, each time someone opens scripture of the Holy Bible to an Understanding through God's Spirit, it then belongs to each individuall who reads it. It becomes their knowledge and blessing as well.

Things of the spiritual realm are discerned only by those capable of .comprehending. The preaching of the gospel is utter foolishness top any other. That's what were faced with. We can yammer about theology 'til we're blue in the face for all to hear. Unless the influence of the third person of the trinity is present all listeners ears are closed.
