Well, perhaps, it was out of mutual respect -- a two-way street so to speak. Out of respect for the loves of their lives that waited for them during the worst of times in their lives, they chose to wear their wedding bands more out of a tribute to honor these women who believed in "for better or for worse" and welcomed them back with open arms. Yeah, I get really soppy sometimes. :roll:
