We're only three days into this nightmare, and it's already causing pandemonium across the fruited plain.

I am sitting here feeling sorry for all these people and I don't even know whether my Medicare is still in effect. Maybe soon someone from Washington, DC will contact me telling me that I am too expensive to keep going although I pay more each month than I spend for Medicare. Ain't it fun to learn these things that those liars at Fox have been talking about all these months are really true?

Keep in mind that the long range plan is to roll Medicare over into Obamacare. Most seniors are not aware of this. Then, of course if you're over the age of 76, some bureaucrat will determine whether it is cost effective to keep you alive. Welcome to government controlled healthcare.

Ending Medicare is the Republican plan. With all they've said of Obamacare, putting senior citizens on the exchange is off the table. Ending Medicare has no support at all on the Democrat side.

Big Norsk-Old Roy is correct-The ultimate plan ,which started with Hillary Care is that everyone fall under one Single Pay plan controlled by the government. The republican plan was to push for medical savings accounts especially for the young and healthy. They would be allowed to save money tax free and since most do not see doctors very often they would accumulate the money then pay cash out of pocket for the medical care they might need instead of paying insurance premiums for years while not using the policies they pay for. Doctors and Hospitals give huge discounts for cash payments. It has never been the intent of anyone to end Medicare. The republicans wanted to strengthen the program not end it. The democrats have been pushing for Single Pay for years and it is now within their grasp so you can bet they will do anything to get their wish. Of course, those with money will still be able to see their doctors at will while the rest of the citizenry waits in line for months if not years for specific treatments. It is not working well in England or in Canada and things are not rosy in Massachusetts either. Good Luck America !!!
