Let the Left-Wing dingbats make fun of us conservative right-wing tea partiers and patriots. We accomplished many great things this past year that would have left our country in more shambles than it is. some of these accomplishments are:
1. We showed Obamacare to be the sham it is.
2. We managed to thwart Obama's pet war with Syria.
3. We brought NSA spying to everyone's attention and kept it in the limelight.
4. We have constantly brought up governmental waste in their constant demands for more taxpayer money to throw away.
5. We managed to get Obamacare exchanges stopped in 36 states.
6. We have constantly shown we are against BIG GOVERNMENT. We plainly showed this to be true when we did not cave in to the Obamacare demands that caused the government shutdown. Although we were blamed for this shutdown, it was the Democrat's staunch refusal to even discuss anything but a full acceptance of this healthcare farce that actually caused the shutdown. (but on the other hand, did we not prove that there were at least 800,000 workers in our government that were not needed; That were extra baggage? How many more are there that could be weeded out to make our budget demands so much lighter?) We have always shown that we are against spending waste and that is one of the reasons that the left-wing spendthrifts h**e us so much.

But what you evidently don't realize is that these conservatives were ridiculed and fought every step of the way by not only the liberal Democrats, but also the RINO Republicans who are still at it to this day. The dull-brained couch potatoes that take everything they see on the boob tube as gospel are the one's that are detrimental to this patriotic group.

What Mike Lee and specifically Ted Cruz did to try and thwart the Democrats and RINO's should show every v**er how to v**e this year. But if people prove to be as lazy as they were in both 2008 and 2012, then we will still have a rough road to travel. If it had not been for the "inside trading" by McConnell and Cornyn, we might have forced the Democrats to at least discuss the merits of Obamacare. But it was a pet project of Obama's and no Democrat was going to take a chance on embarrassing his highness by allowing it to be defunded.

We conservatives have a hard way to go because of the biased, left-wing media that caters to the White House and Obama. The same couch potatoes that would not get up off their lazy asses to find out something for themselves are the same bums that are going to listen and believe the lying media next year and in 2016. It was nothing more than mass ignorance that got this imposter elected both times, and it will continue to be mass ignorance that sees this country fall.

So I believe in giving credit to these people for what they did accomplish, not give them hell for things they did not get accomplished. I applaud both Mile Lee and Ted Cruz for the great effort they made in our behalf. It is a shame we have to have so many crooked RINO"S in our party that would sell us out in a heartbeat. But if people don't take some time to check the background of these crooks, we will have the same bunch of vermin next year as we do now.

Can you call anyone that would sacrifice their self-respect and character for a free trip through life anything but lazy?

I live in a small town where the county population is also rather small, so I can see more than a person in a large populated area. And I know the one's that are on SSI and welfare that have been on this dole since they started to school. SOMEWAY their parents managed to get them declared un-teachable and un-trainable and they started getting an SSI check shortly after beginning the first grade. These people stay on this dole through their lives and as soon as they marry and start having kids, they get their kids on it too so that 4 and 5 generations of these lazy bums are a burden to taxpayers.

Now Webster defines lazy as "disinclined to exertion." If that doesn't fit these bums, I don't know what does.

I realize that, to a certain extent, the Democrats started the give-a-way programs as far back as Roosevelt. But it was Lyndon Johnson who really made bums out of the people on the scale that it is now when he started his infamous "War On Poverty." And it was planned for nothing more than to control the v**e by legalized bribery.

You're right, to a certain extent. What I guess I'm trying to say is that many people would probably get a job, but find that if they do, they would make less than what the government would give them. These people aren't lazy, they are making a decision to make as much as they can for their families. The government not only takes away the incentive to work, but incentivizes not working. I've always advocated the government supplementing peoples' jobs. Instead of giving them "all" their income, let them work and provide the difference to allow them not to be without basic needs to live properly.

You both have very good view points. As bad as it hurts we are going to have to stop calling these people bums and start leading them in a new direction. You have a very valid point about how much the govt hands out. Anyone straddling the fence would rather take the most money they can get for the less amt. of effort, or what we call work.

Answer to Armageddun. When you see a horse running free in a field, do you call it an elephant? When you see a sparrow flying in the sky, do you call it an eagle? So why hesitate to call the hale and hearty l***hes that thrive on this governments handouts anything but what they are? And if they don't want to be known for what they are, then they can always get off their lazy asses and get a job, can't they?

Webster defines a bum as a useless, idle loafer. To sponge, as he bums on his brother. So what else would you call these lazy, good-for-nothings that would sponge off the working man?

If they don't want to be called what they are, then let them get a job and get off the dole.

I have read many of your posts and I can say I agree with what you are saying. I'm sure you have read posts by Tasine? She is trying to start a movement on the opps to stop the anger and hatred. Her contenetion, and I might add mine, is that we MUST find a way to reunite Americans. I feel you hurt, your fears, your anger. However, there are probably many, many on both sides who also feel and fear that something is Wrong with our Great Nation. We want to start a place where the only rules are: you leave all antagonism along with personal no changing political ideas, no religious or non religious beliefs, no r****m, etc.outside the door and come to a forum online, that we can first of all begin to reunite ourselves as true Americans who want only the best for our nation. I hope I am not boring you or making a speech. This is just an attempt to bring sanity back into our nation that is governed by the Constitution of our founding fathers. Please if I have offended you in any way I'm sorry. I am not a scholar or the son of a scholar, just a concern citizen.
