Facebook and NSA in "bed together"?

Lately, I have to go through Facebook to do anything, from buying my shoes at the online store I shop at and for anything else. It never was this way. Their reason: 'We want you to 'Like' us." I believe that as much as I do anything Obama says. My take on this is that Facebook made 3 billion dollars (yes you read it right) last year and did not pay one red cent in taxes! Since I have different passwords for my political contributions, online purchases to my religious tithing, I've had a password on Yahoo for years. The moment that Facebook began putting it's Face in everything you do, like a middle man or some such, my password on yahoo does not work for more that 2 weeks. I was so tired of it that I just let it tell me that for some reason I am having trouble logging in and just bring down my toolbar. I say that Facebook is giving the government everything you and I are doing or saying in lieu of paying it's taxes. What was that Obama promised to do? Oh yeah, to make the rich people pay higher taxes. I do believe Facebook and the NSA are in bed together and I do not mean a twin sized either!

Hmmm, perhaps that would explain why the SEC says there was no wrong doing during Facebook's IPO

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-10-20/sec-facebook-ipo-probe-said-to-find-no-wrongdoing-so-far.html

With or without Facebook, you can assume the NSA is seeing everything we do online, including your posts here.
Just saying that I could wind up in indefinite detention.

No $&&$* you sure could. Nothing is sacred and nothing is right until Obama and his Socialist gamers get out of town. If they like Socialism so much, then go to a country like the Soviet Union--Oh, I forgot, it didn't work there either. If you think, 'Well, I'm honest, I do everything legal;" you are so wrong. I write research papers for Arabian students out at Lackland Air Force Base here in San Antonio, TX. I could have goons on my porch at any minute because my former students send me back pics of their vacation time and military pics as well as family pics. So, if they wanted, they could seize my computer, without a warrant and check everything out. Mind you, I don't do anything illegal either. Just makes you wonder, Obama vowed to shut down Gitmo, but instead he made it larger...for whom?

Even people who do no wrong don't like to be snooped on. I don't know why you're having trouble with Yahoo. I've had the same account for 20 years. I dropped Facebook 5 years ago because I'm not interested in other peoples goings on and I thought it was stupid, still do. Twitter is another ridiculous concept.
What I don't understand, is peoples need to tell everybody everything - but don't want the Gov. to know. That's just silly.

I boycott Facebook. I have known the govt snoops on me since the early 90's. Now they say new computers are bugged.

New computers are bugged, new operation systems like Windows 8 are easily hacked...

Let's face it if you go with anything remotely high tech someone is snooping on you whether it is Joe blow down the street or the damn government.

I stick to my own philosphy: The more technology you have the less security you have.

First try to shut down Gitmo was blocked by congress.. Later, he did reneg and do not recall the circumstances.. One of my deepest grips about him...The NSA, came via the Patriot act, was with us before Obama and will still be with us when he is gone...Now the NSA actions have been upheld and they claim they do not monitor domestic call and computer traffic.. The NDAA ? (right letters?) is what we most need to get rid of . Gives them the right to detain and seize property..

I don't get it either. Why would someone want to "like" or "unlike" you in the first place. All ya gotta do listen to one sentence a person says to know if you're gonna like him/her(being politically correct). But I don't get why Facebook wants to be in your face and in every aspect of what you do. My place where I buy my shoes? Now come on. Well, yeah, I do if you've read my other posts. Now I'm having trouble with my passwords. I have different ones for my political/religious/other sites I donate to and in all places in at least 3 or 4 days, I am directed to redo my password. Used to be I had the same password for 10 years. Especially Yahoo. Every time I get a password, 4 or 5 days later it will tell me I am having trouble with my browser and to click here to get another password! BS! I just go right to my toolbar instead of signing in and having to hear for the 100th time I'm having trouble with my password!
