How did the idea of death get so hairy? By the way, did you know that after you die, your hair still grows for a while? I thought everything stopped at once, but not true. Cadaver caretakers tell me that fingernails grow some too. What nonsense, I guess it is just some systems don't get the word right away. Sort of like relatives, when they are dead even their memory goes with them. All we have left is our own mental pictures.
However, Jesus says everyone will come back again before they are wiped out forever. if you choose Him, you live forever, and if you don't you are gone forever.

Larry, I do not worry about death, nor do I concern myself with my hair and nails continuing to grow, afterwards. My days of personal g***ming will be over.

Memories of loved ones who have passed are not limited to mental pictures. They remain alive and influential in my everyday life. They never truly die in my heart or mind.

Excuse me "got back from dinner"? Was there some reason your confederates were not included in the dinner? :hunf:  :|

It was my intent to invite all. The Sgt. Major insisted on sharing me with no one, on our night together. The dear gal treasures our time alone. What can I say?

I was thinking of you all, during the evening, for sure!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

P.S. Perhaps your "evil genie" has a Texas cousin? :-D

It is good that you keep their memory alive, for your sake, but are they gone then forever when you die? How do you pass on the kindness, love, loyalty, concern of those you keep in your memory if not doing the same in your life? This is a good year to pass on all those fine feelings and concerns for others.

I said, "They remain alive and influential in my everyday life."

Sorry, I thought the message was clear: They live, through me, and my tales of them...to others.

As long as you pass along their influence, they and you will live on.

That was/is my thought, also.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, Larry. May it bring you much joy.
