Well, t***h to tell, I am sure this will come to as much of a shock to you as it did me -- the rescue cats let the llamas in as a distraction so they could raid the refrigerator. Shredder just told me. She wanted to get them ALL to get in trouble because they wouldn't share the tuna casserole. She said she could "hear" the llamas rummaging around for treats and when they couldn't find any, because tuna casserole is not to their taste and they were bored, they decided to give my laptop a whirl because, as you inferred, they are such clever creatures.

Upon further reflection, because I now see that Shredder is extremely devious, you are probably right -- Shredder is the author of that lovely book. She looked so smug when I inquired, she did. Again, she so wanted all other cats to be reflected upon badly!! Of course, I still wonder at the part my husband played. I think he probably was her ghost writer because he doesn't like the rescue cats either!! :lol: That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!! :roll: :mrgreen:

life after death has no substance whatsoever. The after-life that may form life beliefs will all usually be deficient of what it takes for the quality of life as lived. I feel Jesus spoke about here and now and that's it. If that is not enough, I feel a truly just God will overrule. Those who look forward to a future of eternal life, usually have not lived and have no idea what it means to be human, a criteria for love.

I think...I pretty closely believe, as you say here, Rumi. The older I get, the more I treasure the moments in life with those I love. That sense of closeness with loved ones is all-encompassing, and brings me closer to peace, within.

How did the idea of death get so hairy? By the way, did you know that after you die, your hair still grows for a while? I thought everything stopped at once, but not true. Cadaver caretakers tell me that fingernails grow some too. What nonsense, I guess it is just some systems don't get the word right away. Sort of like relatives, when they are dead even their memory goes with them. All we have left is our own mental pictures.
However, Jesus says everyone will come back again before they are wiped out forever. if you choose Him, you live forever, and if you don't you are gone forever.
