Pelosi: ObamaCare is "a Glorious Thing".

In what universe would anyone describe Obamacare as anything other than a colossal failure? Failure always abounds when the government sees fit to involve itself in the formerly-free market. The government d**gs along with it an exorbitant increase in prices and a significant drop in quality of product. That’s what’s been happening with the healthcare industry for decades now. And healthcare.gov is the embodiment of everything that’s wrong with the government’s penchant for central economic planning.
Nancy Pelosi must not be from this universe. Either that, or she’s on all sorts of mind-altering, reality-escaping drugs. She said that Obamacare’s going to be a “glorious thing”:
“It’s worth the trouble. It’s going to be a glorious thing. It’s about life, a healthier life, liberty, the freedom to pursue our happiness. It honors the vows of our founders. A person can follow his or her passion and not be chained by a policy, so they could start a business, be self-employed, change jobs. It’s a very, very exciting thing. And it’s about wellness and prevention. It’s about the health of America, not just the health care for Americans. So we’re very proud of it, and our enthusiasm for it … strengthens our determination to make sure it works.”
Just keep telling yourself that, Mrs. Pelosi. And keep taking those drugs. They’re probably covered under your Federal Employee Health Benefit Plan.
She went ahead and claimed that she’s so confident that it’s not going to be a problem that the 2014 e******ns won’t even mention Obamacare:
“I think that this e******n is going to be, as all e******ns are, about the economy. I think that there are other issues that weigh in discretely with certain groups. The immigration issue, if it isn’t passed, is going to be a big issue in the campaign…gun safety… So there’ll be other issues that weigh in discretely for people, but how successful the economy is, I think, will be the overriding issue. By the time we get into the spring, I believe that the Affordable Care Act will either be a wash or a plus for the Democrats going forward, and I don’t think anybody would change his or her v**e because of what it means politically. Now, if you want to talk about big outside money coming in and mischaracterizing it, as they did in 2010, well, that’s a dynamic of campaigns that we have to deal with. But again, it is not anything that diminishes our p***e in passing the Affordable Care Act. So I don’t see that as a negative.”

I know we're all excited to call it failure but it won't officially begin until the first of the new year.

It won't matter whether it fails or not - what matters is what main street believes. Whether it fails or not, she is saying the Democratic front is p***e and will use life, liberty and pursuit of happiness in it's campaign theme. All with advertising of these themes to obamacare. Meanwhile, the Republican front has a decision to make on their own strategy. Will they go to the failure theme with their own proposal, will they seek amendments to give it a conservative flair or will they stick with the repeal strategy that has struck out so far?

ObamaCare will fail all by itself. The Repub's don't have to do anything but capitalize on its failure. It was doomed to fail before it was ever passed by Pelosi and Reid.

Okay, that's what I'm talking about. That strategy doesn't seem to have any political contingency planning. For instance, what if it fails but main street likes it? Another one - - what if it barely survives and insurers like it? This is OPP after all and it is interesting to consider the political strategy. Remember how the GOP has tried to hit home runs the past few years and struck out? Maybe they should just try to get a hit? Right now, both sides are declaring victory and the thing hasn't even begun.

Day after day the botox riddled brain of Pelosi is on full display. Sadly this fool will be in congress till she dies. Her district v**ers are as off the rails as she is. Her pal the dweeb Reid will also be in the senate till he dies. I don't believe he will be the leader of the senate in 2015.

The Repub's tried, unsuccessfully, to block the implementation of ObamaCare. They then endeavored to give EVERYONE a years delay. Reid also blocked this. The Repub's knew that the ACA was a disaster long before it finally became "the Law of The Land". The Dem's still refuse to acknowledge that it, in it's present form, is a disaster which will lead to the eventual bankruptcy of the entire Country. Even the 'Average Joe' is screaming about it's increased costs, decreased coverage, and lack of affordability. The one size fits all philosophy is anathema to the Ins. Industry and those it is supposed to help. Why are single men, and elderly couples, mandated to have maternity care? That is just one example of the myriad laws inherent within the ACA. I won't even go into all the new taxes, both overt and hidden, that are in this boondoggle.
