Paul Ryan and his pseudo-conservative cronies in the House have let us down. They pledged to the American people that if we elected them in 2010, they would work to reduce big government, cut spending, and balance the budget. But did anyone notice the budget "compromise" that Paul Ryan caved in to? The deal is just another Washington "gimmick" that does nothing to address the real issue: too much spending. They are hoping they can con us into believing that the budget they passed will cut spending and not raise taxes, but they are lying.
The budget goes back on the very moderate sequester cuts Congress promised us, and saddles the American people with $8.8 billion in "user fees" over five years.
But it gets worse! Paul Ryan, John Boehner, and the majority of the House Republicans who v**ed for this bloated budget agreed to $42.3 billion in spending over the next five years in exchange for just $16 billion in cuts tat will probably never happen.
We need to hold every single one of the RINO Republicans who v**ed for this bloated budget deal accountable or throw them out in 2014.

The "cuts" aren't even real cuts. I could say I want to spend 60 billion dollars I don't have but I'll only spend 53 billion. I then can claim I cut 7 billion from my budget. Smoke and mirrors, same old story.

Boehner h**es the "Tea Party" people but without them he would not be Speaker of the House. He and his cohorts want our v**es and money but not to give us a say in what happens. Behind the scenes there is little difference between the GOP elites in Congress and the Democrats. Our GOP Senator here in NC is about to sell us our on this phony budget deal.

I yell about term limits, but my Congress Critter v**ed against this crap. As a matter of fact, I agree with every v**e he has cast so far. Makes me re-think term limits; it's kinda like throwing out the baby with the bathwater. I suppose my frustration with ignorant v**ers who continue to re elect i***ts is what inspired my rants about term limits. I still have to say yes to term limits, ESPECIALLY for Federal Judges and Supreme Court Justices. Expecting non-partiality out of someone who owes a prestigious, lifetime sinecure to a certain political party is credibility straining.

I think it is past time for all of the old crowd to go. We need new people in there that will work to reduce the spending in REAL ways, not just a decrease in spending. Those are NOT cuts, just less spending.
Most of what they spend money on is unconstitutional and should be stopped. To do that, we need new blood in not only the House, but in ALL of Congress. Spending is not the only thing we need to get control of and to do that we need to get rid of as many of the old people as possible.
Some of those people are card carrying socialist and not just the Democrats either. We have Republicans that are in the group too.

If you are asking me where I stand on closing tax loopholes and tax reform, I am absolutely for both. Nothing irks me more than hearing of a new tax being v**ed on and then finding that certain people are "exempt" from the tax. I believe if a new tax is needed, then that tax should be paid by everyone, because if there is room for loopholes, then it can't be needed as badly as the crooks in government would have you believe.
I also believe in tax reform in the true sense, but evidently the powers to be don't understand the definition of reform, which one of several is to "make over." Usually to them "tax reform" means to shift around to satisfy their own greedy agendas and to add more tax in an underhanded, greedy way.
Well,,, it is perfectly conceivable that the dems collude behind the scens,, RETCOW told us that,, of course he was trying to make it seem like we were nuts,,, but he just overlooks the fact that about 4 years ago, we got hold of a phone call, where they did just that,,, a bunch of dem senators,,, got together on the phone and agreed what lies they would support and what they would say,, so yeah, they do that, and no it isn't farfetched nor a conspiracy of ours,,,,, it is truly a conspiracy of theirs,,,,,,,,THIS is what the Civil WAR really was about,,, not about freeing towering intellects like Sevin Grahamc*****rs

I for one agree with you. And while we are at it, and due to the fact that so many swear an oath to uphold the constitution of the United States and then ignore everything they swear to as soon as they utter the last word of that oath, I believe we should make it mandatory that every politician that runs for office take a test to prove they know the constitution verbatim, then agree to either step down as office holder if they are caught ignoring this oath, or accept a prison term if they are caught ignoring this oath to the detriment of we the people.

Are you familiar with the Sequester, that is cutting spending...read much? Without compromise, we can't deflate the Democrats ability to steer everything their way. Wait 'til people are forced into insurance, by the IRS.
Democrat Strategy for Dummies:
1. Break the Economy
2. Claim Government is too small
3. Hire Bureaucrats

What is a "LOOPHOLE"????
To me a loophole is a rule that is passed that is supposed to be for the entirety but has a special clause that releases certain people or groups of people from the same rule that applies to everyone else.

I am familiar with the promise that these people made to get themselves elected, and I am also familiar to the way they have broken that promise at random. I do not see where these taxes are being lowered, but I do see where the same one's that made a promise to v**e to lower the taxes are back-pedaling and caving in to the Democrats and doing everything they promised not to do.
So your definition of this is "compromise," eh? You say that in order to bring taxation and spending back to a sane level, we must compromise. If the Republicans had not "c*********d" and caved in to the government shutdown we might not have to wait until the people are forced into Obamacare by the IRS. This monstrosity just might have been defunded.
OH, BANJOJACK... YU ARE SO RIGHT!!! jean

I believe in everything you said EXCEPT I believe there should be term limits to every elected official. And if any politician, no matter how minor is caught stuffing his pockets while he can, then he goes to prison for a day for every dollar he/she steals.
I believe that would do a lot to relieve the graft and theft that is becoming rampant in this den of inequity known as our government.
